Quite simple - because the murderous husband Michael doesn't want her tested. What's funny - if all medical avenues were pursued and it emerged that Terry REALLY is vegetative and had no hope of ANY recovery, REGARDLESS of therapy and treatment, and that she had ZERO mental capacity - and really is BRAIN DEAD - then all questions would be answered and far fewer would be trying to help keep Terry alive. Michael's own refusal to allow experts to examine Terry and to test her is evidence in my mind that he knows she is alive and wants to live - he is afraid the public will find out.
