Believe I heard there's a web site to impeach Greer but when I went to www.impeachgreer.com it says it's under construction.

An excellent read is the book just published by Mark Levin called "Men in Black". Read that and tell me that the federal courts have to listen to anyone. State's Rights HA!

>> Who was it, Jefferson?, that said something like 'I'm aware of the judges order, now let him enforce it.'?

Chief justice Marshall's decision held that the Cherokees formed a nation with clearly defined boundaries within which "the laws of Georgia can have no force." Based on this ruling the citizens of Georgia could not enter Cherokee territory.

In response to Justice Marshall's ruling Jackson said: "The Supreme Court has made it's decision, now let them enforce it." In doing so he ignored the Courts order.

I can't figure out the husband's motives. He has a new "wife", children and life, why doesn't he just let Terri's parents have her. His behavior defies all logic.

I happen to believe, from experience, that God is involved in our lives, and will in fact work to refine us if we ask. I believe this is a test for our nation and people. One way or the other, refinement or chastisement, something is seriously afoot here.

I don't recall anyone attempting to remove her sustenance.

If I recall, the Quinlan family appealed first to the Vatican and the Vatican agreed that removing "extraordinary means" of life support was acceptable and stated that nutrition was not extraordinary, but ordinary support of life. And they requested she continue to be nourished after the mechanical life support was removed.

After the requested guidance from the Vatican for their religious convictions, they appealed to the State of New Jersey and won the right to let their daughter die.

Terri cannot "move on" on her own..
look..
I have worked with brain damaged people for many years...
Terri is brain DAMAGED, not brain dead...
Brain dead people do not smile at their Poppa, and follow the movements of colored balloons...they don't DO anything..
Terri has demonstrated that she recognizes her parents, her caretakers, and so on..

We who are supposedly her fellow human beings, do NOT have a right to impose a death sentence on her..for ANY reason..
Did it ever occur to anyone that if she did not die from her intial collapse, that perhaps she wasn't meant to?

Death by dehydration and starvation is CRUEL, and very painful..and it is beyond comprehension that anyone can condone it...

She is a human being, and is entitled to all the rights, and protection that the rest of us are..
That's the way I see it..
Ms.B

Question: They keep talking about removing the feeding tube. Is there a tube permanently attached somewhere or do they thread it down her esophagus every feeding time?</p>

Monroe - Do you force feed a baby?

This goes all the way to the womb. If this is acceptable, so is abortion.

Michael Schiavo gets a insurance settlement.

I have been told Michael Schiavo did a 180, first testifying that Terri needed insurance funds to get better, then, after the insurance payout was approved, claiming she is a vegetable and should be put down like a dog.

Is that true? If it is, it's a terribly scummy (and telling) thing to do.

This is a particular case. As are all such cases, they have to be individually decided. When decisions become general you end up with totalitarian states and trains headed to final destinations.

Those funds were exhausted years ago.

Perhaps. But any Life Insurance Policies on Teri would not be paid out until her DEATH. And gee, I wonder who the beneficiary is?

She is not BRAIN DEAD. A brain dead person, cannot breathe on his own, can not open their eyes, cannot have any reflexes, cannot maintain their body temperature, etc. She is sitting in a chair, eyes wide open, making sounds, etc. If that is your criteria for brain dead, most people in nursing homes and in their own homes would be up for grabs. So would infants, and toddlers. If you don't believe me look at the Harvard Criteria of brain death.

This should be the "first shot" made towards our side which starts the upcoming battle to purge the courts of tyranically judges, and they are the ones that pulled the trigger.

I wish all the medical personnel at the potential crime scene would get the blue flu and go home en masse. Remember the Hippocrates oath....."do no harm"??????

"Just following orders" is no defense. Whoever pulls her tube will be guilty of murder. Those who stand around and watch will also be culpable.
