"too easy"? Please. You say you are pro-life. How is it possible that you consider not feeding someone okay? She may not have the quality of life you desire but that does not mean she does not deserve nourishment. Pro-life is more than just anti-abortion. It has to do with life at ALL stages. "Let" her die is the mentality of the party of death. I believe you should go back and look at the whole picture of why the husband and judge want her to die.
This is so awful.
He would be a national hero if he did. May he have the courage to do so, if the need arises.

And you are one of them. Once congress issued the subpoena in Terri Schiavo's name, (which I believe they did unconstitutionally, btw) this became a federal issue. She is required to appear before congress on March 28, 2005. Anyone who interferes with this (ie by removing the feeding tube) is in contempt of Congress. Greer has rules from the bench that he is ignoring a congressional subpoena. He has no power to do this, and I am a big state's rights person. If the tube is pulled, I would issue an arrest warrant for Greer and for anyone at hospital who physically removed the tube.
At some point one of these sides needs to respect the rule of law.
They say (and the video shows) that Terri is swallowing her own saliva. The judge and Michael will not permit her to be fed orally. If I stretch it, I "might" be able to understand the leaglity of removing the feeding tube as a medical proceedure. There is NO WAY that any human can condone them not permitting her food orally.
The woman is brain damaged. There are a lot of brain damaged people out there that are still be fed.
The judge is trying to hang his hat on separation of powers.

Greer has turned this into a race.
Even if there is a special recall election the other judges will call in favors of the big law firms to defend Greer. Greer will put a "voluntary" sign up sheet inside his courtroom for all lawyers appearing before him so it can be published in advertising form as lawyers who support Greer.
I think the reall issue at this point is whether they can make her die faster. Supposedly the pain killers they will give her are just as easy to use to kill as to stop pain. Judge Greer is hoping she can be helped to die faster.
Yes. I'm guessing the judge does as well. I wonder if he has thought it through.
