Greer has turned this into a race.
Even if there is a special recall election the other judges will call in favors of the big law firms to defend Greer. Greer will put a "voluntary" sign up sheet inside his courtroom for all lawyers appearing before him so it can be published in advertising form as lawyers who support Greer.
I think the reall issue at this point is whether they can make her die faster. Supposedly the pain killers they will give her are just as easy to use to kill as to stop pain. Judge Greer is hoping she can be helped to die faster.
You know, somebody's hand has to do the removing, and there's a subpoena out now...some nurse is not going to want to get in the crosshairs of a Marshall, however much Greer might insist.
