My mother went fast from a heart attack back when nothing would have saved her, my father's care was under the control of my step-mother when the end came for him but I don't blame her because I sat next to him when he signed the papers for exploratory surgery which didn't work and made him worse, ending his life soon after, everybody else the adults took care of because I was a child. I always assumed doctors would do the right thing.
Sadly, I have learned differently. Like I said, that was 1989 and I was naive.
We don't have a justice system anymore, just a legal system. It's to benefit those directly involved in it...judges, lawyers, etc. They are supremely powerful and bow to no one.

Question, could Terri's parents not give her water orally??? just minute amounts? The action says feeding tube removal, they cant possibly prevent her parents from giving a a small drink of water, could they?
You're welcome! This may be just what Terri needed though! Now that her feeding tube has been removed and the judge and doctors have gone against congress, they can storm in and take her into protective custody!!!! Let's pray for that!

Congress has jurisdiction with respect to enforcing the subpoenas. Terri Schiavo must appear as a witness at the congressional hearing on March 28, 2005. Anyone who interferes with it is in contempt of congress.

It is a a definition given by the law to make sure that only dead people will donate organs. The machine tells you whether a patient is brain dead or not. This is not science fiction, but daily life for organ transplantations.

WORD WAS JUST RECEIVED THAT TERRI'S PARENTS WERE ASKED TO LEAVE TERRI'S ROOM. MICHAEL SCHIAVO WAS PRESENT WHEN THE FEEDING TUBE WAS REMOVED.
JODI'S BROTHER, J. CENTONZE STEPPED OUT OF MICHAEL'S AND JODI'S HOUSE IN CLEARWATER AND TOLD REPORTER THAT TERRI'S FEEDING TUBE HAD BEEN REMOVED. REPORTED BY BAY NEWS NINE LOCAL NEWS!
SCHIAVO SAID HE ALLOWED A PRAYER SERVICE WITHOUT THE FAMILY PRESENT.
TERRI'S PARENTS WERE ASKED TO LEAVE THEIR DAUGHTER'S ROOM AT 1:45 PM ET.
HER LAST INITIAL FEEDING BEGAN AT 11:00 AM ET. SHE HAD SOME NUTRITION PROVIDED BEFORE JUDGE GREER ORDERED HER FEEDING TUBE REMOVED STATED BARBARA WELLER, ATTORNEY FOR THE GIBBS FIRM.
TERRI'S PARENTS ARE VERY UPSET.
NOTE: THERE WAS NO REASON TO PULL HER TUBE AND PUT HER THROUGH PAIN AND DISCOMFORT. THEY COULD HAVE CAPPED HER FEEDING TUBE OFF AND PREVENTED THE PAIN SHE EXPERIENCED FROM HAVING A FEEDING TUNE PULLED FROM HER ABDOMEN.
THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! PEOPLE NEED TO ACT NOW.
THIS IS NO MORE HUMANE THAN WHEN THE FIRST PERSON WAS MARCHED INTO A GAS CHAMBER!

It depends on whose testimony you listen to. That of her husband, his brother and his sister-in-law of a conversation he remembered only after he was awarded money for her care and after he had 2 kids with his fiance. Or, that of her friends and family about when she said, "where there is life, there is hope."
Err on the side of life.

The question isn't whether they will remove Terri's tube. The question is how they will treat the area where the tube had been inserted.
