This case is disturbing as you follow the news. I hate reading the on-line voting that want just a yes and no answer as to who should have the right to end her life the husband or her parents. This case is not that black and white. It is a human rights case of the innocent. Granted all we have is the news to get our info and some of it is troubling:
*Was there a pattern of domestic abuse and were her injuries documented with doctors think I heard they were
*Did he strangle her...guess we won't ever know the truth
*Did he try to administer CPR - heard he didn't
*He received 1 million in reward money for her treatment and then once received he declined therapy for her.
*He has been in a relationship for over 10 years and has 2 kids does he truly care for her or is she just a burden he wants to get rid of
*Heard he wants her cremated(sp) if she dies and no autoposy...what's the rush let's see if she did have spinal injuries
Anyway, I know there is more but bless these parents that want to take care of their child...what a burden. He obviously wants to go on with his life, divorce her and let the parents who gave birth to her take care of her. This man is very selfish and there is just something not right.
So thank God for the Senate and for our President supporting this voiceless woman. Let's try a year of therapy without the husband being involved and see how this lady improves.
Isn't this day #2?

Palm Sunday bttt.
Is this bill going to get passed tonight at midnight or not?? I am getting scared for Terri! Can the democrats kick this bill to the curb? Since the GOP is in control can't we do something to see this bill go through?
Just upgraded my web site.
You may participate in an on-line poll on my site. The poll has just been put up. It records your vote so that you cannot vote more than once.

"The issue here is not what is wrong or right, but what Terri would want
This is not what our forefathers would want us to be involved in"
What is RIGHT and TRUE is not the issue???? It is EXACTLY what we should have been doing, but you guys have gradually been murdering the unborn and the elderly and now the disabled.
"If you really loved me, you would want me to have rest and meet the Lord." NO! Why? Because we are not Islams who think martyrdom is our duty. We are NOT to test God. Only He can take our lives.

"I'm here to speak for myself. [I thought you were elected and paid by them to reflect their voice??] Let us make our own decisions! Its not up to you! Its always been that way and that's how it should be! STAY OUT OF MY FAMILY LEAVE US ALONE LET MY FAMILY MAKE MY DECISIONS WITHOUT YOUR INPUT."
Reminds me of the benefit of the Protestant Reformation...the message at least gets out that salvation is by grace alone through Christ alone. It's not believed, but it's heard.
They hear our Republican desire for smaller government. Part of it at least.

"I referred to the facts that I could fiind. On the one hand my reaction is that I am concered that we are a congress that is flexible on the jurisdiction of courts... When we agree with them, we try to give them additional jurisdiction
If we pursue that course, I suggest to you that we will become a nation of men and not of laws."
I missed a few words here, but the next sentence seemed
"We have troops in Iraq to support that principle of the individual and of freedom and of law." [this sounds Republican view of the war]
"The report seems to indicate to me that very careful consideration has been given."
"The court said Mrs. Schiavo would have chosen to withdraw the life-prolonging procedures."
"Neither a husband nor a mother or a husband should be able to make this decision in a manner that is not far and tht does not have due process...I think ..Florida accomplished that end."
"Because I care for her as a child of God I believe this legislation should not pass." Burn you wolf in sheep's clothing.
