I don't know, Halls.
You're right, BG -- Dear Lord, hear our prayer.
Shays and Brown-Waite spoke against....
Fox says it has passed. So, it is a done deal.
In the hands of another judge. One person....again.
Why doe THOMAS say that the Senate didn't vote today?
...but praise God even more for the overwhelming number of Republicans who sided with Terri and the Schindler family.
That is so disheartening. With all the ADA Legislation, we still treat people with challenges so poorly. Isn't that what they did in Nazi Germany?
Really, are you sure?
"The VOTE PASSED YES!!!!!! But now they have to do an individual vote which should take 15 minutes. Then it will go over to the senate to be recorded, then over to the White House in an hour."
So Gentlestrength, anyone.....is it done? Can Terri now be taken to the hospital to be rehydrated?
Or do we now have to wait for the President to sign in an hour or so?
How can there be a majority of 218 if only 176 have voted thus far on both sides? Maybe the votes will trickle in.
Now, 191 have voted.
Two republicans
43nay
6:24 remaining
prolly that idiot woman from my state, Ohio. She must be from the northern part of the state...they are liberal up there and very stupid. :o)
Votes:
Republicans, 126 yea, 2 nay, 104 no vote
Democrats, 32 yea, 46 nay, 124 no vote
Independent, 1 no vote
The "no vote" goes down as the yeas/nays go up.
That Schultz WITCH from Florida is a heartless, cruel and inhumane liberal DUMMYBRAT piece of trash.
You would think by now they would know what they need as far as votes.
203 have voted.
Do we need 218 "Yes." We have only 158 now.
Well, if Fox says it has passed than it has passed! I also heard it takes about an hour to get to the Presidant where he will sign it into law. I'm sure than after that there will be some Federal Judge ready for the wake up phone call for someone to come to his home to sign this law! I think by tomorrow morning Terri's feeding tube will be reinsurted!
That is good to know because I was born in WI as was my dad and my grandparents. It is a beautiful state.
"Fox says it has passed. So, it is a done deal. In the hands of another judge. One person....again."
And that is precisely the problem.
This should NOT be in the hands of a judge.
God, please hear our prayers for Terri.
God, please hear our prayers for our country.
