Polls showed 2/3 of Floridians wanted the boy out of the state: some said that tragedy showed the latent anti-immigrant feelings there.

Are they? Maybe Gov. Bush wants them there. If they must obey a governor's orders, maybe he plans to give some. I dunno! I just don't want to assume that a large police presence there is necessarily a bad thing.
