Thank you! How about the orange growers? Disneyworld?
Here is my letter:
We are organizing a boycott of your state's tourist attractions and products, if something isn't done to save Terri Schiavo.
We WILL punish the people of Florida for electing judges who kill innocent people, and allowing husbands to have complete control over a woman's body.
We will not give money to a people who violate the human rights of a disabled woman, and cruelly starve and dehydrate her to death. We CHOOSE to boycott those who elect a judge who will not even allow a disabled woman to attempt eating by mouth; thus showing his true motivation is not trying to follow Terri's "wishes" not to be kept alive "artificially" , but instead his contempt for the disabled and a desire that they were all dead.
Please save Terri Schiavo. At a minimum, fight for her right to eat by mouth; Or suffer as your state's economy suffers. If mercy and morality will not get you people to act to save a life, perhaps economic hardship will?
In a stunning affidavit sworn , Carla Sauer Iyer, a registered nurse who was employed at Palm Garden of Largo Convalescent Center in Largo, Fla., from April 1995 to July 1996, while Terri Schiavo was a patient there, testified:
"Throughout my time at Palm Gardens, "Michael [Schiavo] would say, 'When is she going to die? Has she died yet?' and 'When is that bitch going to die?'
" Iyer charged. "Other statements which I recall him making include, 'Can't anything be done to accelerate her death, won't she ever die?' When she wouldn't die, Michael [Schiavo] would be furious."
The nurse also said that Terri said "help me", "mommy" and "pain" while in her presence.
Sworn testimony:

Not doubting that. "Schiavo" means slave in Italian, and it is a Sicilian surname. (I was born with one, myself!)
I will look for those. There are also dozens of individual convention & visitor bureaus listed on this site: http://www.floridasmart.com/travel/cvb.htm
Thank you for your excellent letter. (And I love your tagline!)
You know how there's a DNR order on some medical charts? Do Not Resuscitate.
Florida's now on my DNV list: Do Not Visit.
I'm not taking a chance on getting sick or injured there.
And we visited every year for years. And were considering it for retirement.
Those days are gone.

US Supreme court declines to act in Schiavo case
Very interesting.

Would you mind sharing where you heard the US Supreme Court declines to act, please.
[Sigh.]
Fox News Alert....someone started a thread about it...
Is Michael S. being searched, and not allowed to be alone with her? The news said he is spending lots of hours with her now.
As a nurse, he'd have access to drugs, creams, patches of meds which he could be putting on her while in the room alone, perhaps doping her so that she cannot scream out that she wants to live anymore. He could be verbally torturing her.
Can't that room get bugged??
Me too...I think the CBS 11 PM news.
