MEXICO CITY - The leaders of the United States, Mexico and Canada, confronting the growth of rival groups in Europe and Asia, hope to strengthen their free-trade pact by signing an "Initiative for North America" next week in Texas, Mexico President Vicente Fox said Wednesday.
But Fox made clear that tensions remain over how to secure the countries' borders, criticizing new U.S. walls running along parts of its 2,000-mile frontier with Mexico. "No country that is proud of itself should build walls," he said.
Fox, President Bush and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin are scheduled to meet March 23 at Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch during Bush's Easter vacation.

Speaking at a news conference with U.S. and Canadian reporters, Fox vowed to take legal action against migrant-hunting vigilantes in Arizona and promised to fight terrorism.

But in both Spanish and English, Fox repeatedly expressed concern about state initiatives to limit rights of migrants and services for them in the United States, and about the U.S. government's effort to slow migration by building walls.
"We are convinced that walls don't work. They should be torn down," Fox said. He called the walls "discriminatory; they attack liberty. So no country that is proud of itself should build walls. Nobody can isolate himself these days."

He said Mexicans "totally reject" the migrant hunters recently formed in Arizona to help stem the illegal crossings there, which have risen partly because of the construction of walls elsewhere. The vigilantes "are completely in violation of American law itself and in violation of laws anywhere," Fox said.
He said Mexico "will be very alert to react legally against any lawbreaking" by those groups, either under U.S. or international law.

I am only the "messenger" posting FBI-DOJ info (1999 Uniform Crime Report) I received from (D-CT) US Senator Joseph Lieberman via the USPS.
Note I also referenced many US mainland urban city stats where non-hispanics are in the majority of the local populations - I note no howls of "smearing" from any from those minorities from those urban nightmares.

I am hard pressed to recall any instance when I have ever said "all whites" (I fit in here), "all Asians", "all native American Indians" (I fit in here too), "all blacks", "all hispanics", or even "all others" (FBI-DOJ loves the "other" category)
One thing I cannot comprehend is why the FBI-DOJ Uniform Crime Report(s) skip a (very) few ethnic categories yet every other federal or state or college applications ask if the applicant is "Inuit-Martian" (a 2-fer Affirmative-Action check-box hypenated-winner - good for 25 extree points)
As part (authentic) native American Indian (as many are) I will not play Ward Churchill "r-word" games with anyone.

What Mexico wants is no borders for the US. They'll continue to send poor folk north and get nine billion yearly in remittances. These illegals will continue to sap the US economy/welfare/medical to the point of collapse; they will also have many more children than the legal US population. They will Mexicanize this country within a set number of years...(some sociologist could work out the demographics/numbers.) This is an invasion. Deliberate.
The other night, a tv cable channel ran a piece on California, Arizona, and New Mexico jailed illegals. The numbers are mindboggling. Other than grinning widely and looking well fed and clothed, they said they'd done nothing wrong. They have 'rights', and crossing the US border anytime, day or night, is one of them. US citizens are considered fools, dopes, and when illegals take over, the rest of us will lose our 'rights', ala Zimbabwe.
Mexico is annexing the US.
Plus Fox has what amounts to a southern border 'wall'. They shoot illegals and if they end up dead...so much the better.
