Prayer request. My brother Orvil L Robinson has died.

Received word this morning that my brother, Orvil L. Robinson, of San Antonio, Texas died yesterday afternoon after fighting a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jane (Hodges) Robinson, two children, Cheryl Moran of San Antonio and Jeff Robinson of California, and several grandchildren. He was retired from the U.S. Weather Bureau. He was a US Navy veteran. Served as a meteorologist aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge in the '50s. He was a good and decent, loving man who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your brother. I lost my brother to cancer 2yrs.and 8mos. ago, and think of him everyday. I know he's in Heaven along with his wife who died 2 mos. later, but I miss them both very much. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to call him on the phone about something and have to again remind myself he's gone.

I realize words can't express to anyone how sorry they are for your loss. Just know that your brother and you will be in my prayers tonight. God Bless you.
