Received word this morning that my brother, Orvil L. Robinson, of San Antonio, Texas died yesterday afternoon after fighting a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jane (Hodges) Robinson, two children, Cheryl Moran of San Antonio and Jeff Robinson of California, and several grandchildren. He was retired from the U.S. Weather Bureau. He was a US Navy veteran. Served as a meteorologist aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge in the '50s. He was a good and decent, loving man who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
My prayers and condolences to you and yours.
I also have lost a sibling to the cancer and its one of the most helpless feelings one can have in watching this disease progress.
Remember today he is healthy and a whole person again and you have a new angel in heaven looking over you.

He leadeth him in the paths of righteousness --- That's Guidance!

Yea, though Orvil walks through the valley of the shadow of death --- That's Testing!
He will fear no evil --- That's Protection!
For Thou art with him --- That's Faithfulness!
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort him --- That's Discipline!
Thou preparest a table before Orvil in the presence of his enemies--- That's Hope!
Thou annointest his head with oil --- That's Consecration!
His cup runneth over --- That's Abundance!
Surely goodness and mercy has followed Orvil all the days of his life --- That's Blessing!
And he will dwell in the house of the Lord --- That's Security!
Forever --- That's Eternity!
Face it ---- the Lord is crazy about Orvil !!!
