But that's the problem. You sometimes can't divide health and life. If the woman with the tumors doesn't receive treatment, her health is threatened. But at what point does that become her life? You can't tell when the cancer has mestastasized without surgery.
I don't necessarily disagree with you, but we get to such a slippery slope. Shouldn't it really be up to the woman? How can we legislate that? Can we try to change minds then trust in the innate good of all men?

How so? I've never been a McCain fan, but, in evaluating the possible candidates who could beat Hillary Clinton, McCain is near the top of the list. If Owens of Colorado, or some other leading light is going to give it a go, they've got to start building an organization soon and making some headlines.
Rudy could do it, but he arouses negative far right passions with his abortion and gun stances.
I may be alone in this, but I don't think Condoleeza Rice has the fire in her belly to run for president. She's simply an unknown campaign quantity.
>>>What advice does the ALL ABORTIONS ARE MURDER crowd have for her?
You know the answer to that already; she has to die.>>>
Why do I feel guilty for laughing at that?
Damn, it's late. I'm all fuzzy brained.
1. Rape
2. Incest
3. Life of the Mother
Life of the Mother is a cop out, there is so few cases it's just a political trick by pro abortion people. You want to be Solomon? Go ahead, you choose on the one in 10 million cases.
the other two are murder of an innocent to "remedy" a crime by a third party. It's immoral and sickening. ANYONE who advocates it is a moral slob and as far as I'm concerned, they can go to hell. ANYONE.
Hey, you got facist, no fair! I only got delusional and scum.
Very disappointing, to say the least.
I think you're far too harsh. She wants the Federal government out of abortion. I'll bet that she wouldn't want the Feds to decide on capital punishment, either.
From what I've seen, she is thoughtful and careful about words and how she uses words. When I read the quotes in this article from my point of view, they are pro-life statements.
Currently, the Feds are interfering in every aspect of "choice," as is State and more local governments and services. We are each forced to subsidize abortion.
That should be our new battle cry ( and would go with the proposition to encourage Congress to restrict the courts from all abortion cases):
"Get the feds out of abortion!"
Drunk? You should have the decency to ask for this post to be taken down.
>Actually, President Bush has always been far too smart to say something that dumb. But it is almost a word for word quote from Bill Clinton.
That's the best all that Googling could net you? We didn't elect Laura Bush or Ari Fleisher.
No. Here's more:
~ Hardball With Chris Matthews 05/31/2000And another:
Matthews: [Clinton] said he was going to make abortion safe, legal and rare, So why ban it ?
Gov. Bush: I think the key is, is to change the culture first and foremost. I don't think anybody is underI don't believe people believe it can be banned. I believe we can do everything we can to make it, as the president [Clinton] said, more rare.
But I will bet that you will not admit you were mistaken nor apologise.~ Larry King Live, 12/16/1999: Bush said "We need to convince people that abortion isought to be rare
Well, I guess thats fair, but the calculus is really this.
Condi.....
or...
Hillary!...ous.
And isnt the Fed Imposing, the whole reason that ROE is wrong....?
And if anybody thinks that a Rice run for the White House will create a sesimic shift of black support to the GOP they are kidding themselves. She's a Aunt Tom too much of the black population.
Tim Pawlenty, George Allen, and, yes, even Mark Sanford are quite capable of beating Hillary.
Keep your eye on Romney, he's moving right and making all the right moves.
It seems just as evil to me to make her carry it. I really don't want to be sexist, but maybe it's a male/female thing. Rape is frightening violence. I cannot imagine carrying the child. Some may be able to, better women than I, but that decision has to be private. How can any of us presume to make that call. And I fervently believe life begins at conception.
Your post just oozes with respect for life.
Murder is a typically nasty business.
