If somebody wants a moderate Republican just to beat Hillary in '08, whis does Rice's name come up? McCain and Rudy would stand a better chance to beat Hillary.

And if anybody thinks that a Rice run for the White House will create a sesimic shift of black support to the GOP they are kidding themselves. She's a Aunt Tom too much of the black population.

Tim Pawlenty, George Allen, and, yes, even Mark Sanford are quite capable of beating Hillary.

I like all three guys with Sanford at the top but I must admit that sometimes George Allen gets that Hale Bopp look going.

I think Sanford would win quite easily if he raises money. If Hillary's the opponent, he'll raise big money.

Sanford's pork stance will go over very well in bringing the "anti-spending" wing of the party along, as well as the populist wing.

You either stand for something or fall for anything.
