Rice pointedly declined to rule out running for president in 2008 on Friday during an hour-long interview with reporters at WASHINGTON TIMES, top sources tell DRUDGE. Rice gave her most detailed explanation of a 'mildly pro-choice' stance on abortion, she would not want the government 'forcing its views' on abortion... She explained that she is libertarian on the issue, adding: 'I have been concerned about a government role'... Developing late Friday for Saturday cycles... MORE...

If you don't want murder, don't commit it. Teach your children that it's wrong. Yeah, that'll help...

not forgetting it.....never said she was my candidate, I said I would vote for her over Hillary.....that is all...
To: Theodore R.
That's true about Hillary. And we don't know how Condi would react; before she's nominated we'd know. But I don't quite picture her "wilting".

"There are groups of people I can't abide, that is people that think that others should live by their set of rules."
That must include you, since you apparently think that I should live by your rule.

How about simply executing the rapist or their fathers?
Why punish the innocent and let the guilty go free?

a black womanYes, if that black woman were a liberal Democrat. But blacks do not vote for "R" candidates, haven't in any appreciable numbers since 1964.

"Mildly pro-choice" is that anything like being "a little pregnant?"
Ms Rice's true colors are beginning to show, and I hope some here open their eyes.
She's little different than her predecessor at State.
And I don't mean that in a good way.

In the South, there are many examples where blacks will vote for a white liberal over a black Pubbie or RINO.
I respectfully disagree.
Besides, since when did we decide to chunk all our principles just to win.

Well put. She wouldn't get any votes here either, even against Hillary. We'd sit it out.Your attitude is pathetic and a classic example of what is wrong with the right wing of the party.

Thanks. I'm glad you understand me now.

Without pro-lifers, the GOP would flat-line in short order. And that would result in Democrats getting elected, which in turn would result in abortion policies far worse than Condi Rice's being put in place. Brilliant strategy.
I wasn't threatening to leave. I was responding to a poster trying to drum us out of our own (pro-life) party.
I agree. Electing a pro-abortion presidential candidate would be very destructive to the republic, since it would absolutely elect Democrats.

I will never vote for a pro-abortion candidate. Abortion is murder, and I will not give anything - one vote, one dollar - to a person who would protect its legality. I can overlook a lot in candidates, but protecting the slaughter of the unborn is not one of them. Did you vote for President Bush? Condi's views mirror his.
(George W.) Bush has said he is opposed to abortion and would support a constitutional amendment making the procedure illegal - except in cases of rape, incest and when the womans life is jeopardy. Source: Associated Press Jun 14, 1999

No, of course you don't need my vote. But you do need the votes of several million Evangelicals who turned out in the last two elections but will not turn out for a pro-choice candidate.
Catholics are more divided, but the liberal, dissenting Catholics will vote for Hillary, and the conservative ones will abstain.
Why do you think Hillary is spouting all that pro-life garbage? Because her pollsters have analyzed the elections and told her that's what she has to do to win.

Light Your World: I will pray you are not murdered. If someone wants to murder you, I will try to dissuade him, if he will listen to me. I will not murder you, and I will not forcibly prevent anyone else from murdering you. If someone kills you, I will take no action against him.
Do you like this deal? It's the one you (and everyone who agrees with you) has handed unborn children.
