Pro-choice *IS* pro-abortion.

That sounds so nasty when you say it, but you want to deny women the right to have an abortion if they are raped or dying or screwed by their daddy.

No one said they would vote for Hillary. But if the Republicans nominate Condi, and she is "mildly pro-choice," we will regretfully vote for a third-party candidate or not vote at all.

And so will several million other pro-lifers who gave Bush their votes last November.

This is NOT an issue we will, or can, compromise on. If conservatives with more libertarian views want to see a conservtive in the White House, then they will have to compromise on this issue.

"Lots of innocent Iraqis have been killed as collateral deaths in military actions in Iraq. It's sad, but it cannot be avoided, just minimized, in the pursuit of our goals in Iraq. Does that mean you don't support Bush?"

I'm referring to the 'War on Babies'...

But now that you mention "Bush," he's not fighting the 'War on Illegals Invaders' very well, is he?

but I'm of the opinion that time spent in the useless politicking of congress doesn't make people less effective the more they are exposed to it.

Yes! Yes! One thing she won't have is all those "handlers" and "hangeroners!"

I'm an anti abortion libertarian. All REAL libertarians are anti abortion.

There is one group on this forum I cannot abide, ill informed, ignorant pretend conservatives, like you.

I ask again, for those who would sit out in 08:

What effect has Bush's position on abortion had?

He can't even get his lesser nominees out of commitee...

It's not "single issue" voting ~ rather it has to do with a prioritization of positions on various issues.

First of all we want a candidate who does not believe the slaughter of the innocents has real advantages.

If we can get beyond that one, other issues can be discussed of course.

The reality is what it is, and no amount of parsing changes it...

Sounds to me like she wants it to be regulated by the states?

If Roe V.Wade is ever overturned...isn't that what will happen?

Do you mind if I have an abortion?

I will pray you do not. I will try to talk with you about it if you will listen. But I will neither force you to have one nor forceably prevent you from having one.

I don't know you at all, but I read your comment in Post #7 and there's NO WAY it sounded racist or like you were throwing out the race card.

It's a charge that people pull lately if you even MENTION the obvious.

"But if the Republicans nominate Condi, and she is "mildly pro-choice," we will regretfully vote for a third-party candidate or not vote at all. And so will several million other pro-lifers who gave Bush their votes last November."

That will only serve to marginalize your influence in the party. We don't need you as much as you think we do.

I like Condi Rice. I like her a lot. But that does not square with my desire to work to elect a prolife candidate. Ms.Rice, I am sure is qualified to be president, but I need to know her view on the capricious killing of the unborn. If it is identical to H.Clinton, the difference in economic, military, other social matters simply do not rise to the necessary height to separate her from Hillary. I need more information, but if Condi Rice is a proabortion candidate, I will be looking for a prolife candidate. There are those on this thread who believe people who want infants to have a chance to live are Nuts, as you say. You will decide for yourself.
