It's not "single issue" voting ~ rather it has to do with a prioritization of positions on various issues.

First of all we want a candidate who does not believe the slaughter of the innocents has real advantages.

If we can get beyond that one, other issues can be discussed of course.

it does have advantages......I'm pro life myself but also think there are exceptions......I still think this is more a State issue.....I'd rather have a strong CIC and someone strong on terror........if we get a weak Pres on that cause many voted a 3rd party and we are attacked because of it, well abortions won't mean a whole lot if we can't defend our country......

Good post.

I like Condi, but I'll take to her mildly pro-choice postion to heart as soon as they develop a mild abortion.

This is one thing the Country should have never compromised on to begin with. Although we have to remember that RvW just federalized abortion. It was legal in about 17 states before the Courts expanded it into the territories.

But, I'm with you, I don't think I'll be able to vote for her, if she thinks abortion is nothing more than a necessary evil. It is not, and it has to be called what it is!
