I spent some time gathering web evidence last night and I have a pretty high level of confidence that the two sites are related, with waf.org preceding WAFF by a few years and of a much more limited scope. However, I cannot prove my suspicions 100%, so take my remarks in this paragraph with a grain of salt.

This is the first I've heard that they were related. And the owner of WAFF denied any connection on FoxNews shortly after the story broke. Do you have further documentation to support your suspicion?

All I know of is their association with tolerance.org and the adl. Both bad enough.

I don't have a 100% tie-in, but it looks like waf.org began first in the late 90's and billed themselves in certain newsgroups as the 'We are Family Foundation'. Then it looks like their activities spread to New York and the wearefamilyfoundation.org domain was registered and populated with all of its garbage. Be sure to take a look at the web pages that I put up at: http://www.datatogo.com/waff. These pages show what the wearefamilyfoundation.org website looked like prior to Dr. Dobson and Lou Sheldon calling attention to things.
