Fox Reporter made a statement that he could be anywhere in the state. I hope that is not the case, sounds like you do want a tight area as long as one thinks he is in a car

As long as he's in a car, you can be assured that he'll be found. You can hide for years (Eric Rudolph), and you can hide a body forever (Jimmy Hoffa), but there's just no way to escape detection if there is a car involved (see Susan Smith case, for example).
