This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.
Listen. I just asked for an investigation. Got it. You have this obvious insecurity around women who have a life. Got it? Smirky answers to serious questions do not become you.
Well, let 'em. It IS a fact that it's legal to marry your first cousin in Texas, even your double-first cousin (just like AL, GA, FL, SC, TN, VA...and get this: NY, CT, VT, RI, NJ, MD, CO, NM, CA, AK, HI and DC!) (Search engines are wonderful things.)
Note, she killed her cousin. You have to be cold to do that. And here we are talking about cousins. Eerie.
Oops! I forgot to add MA to the list.
Good Lord, what are we coming to? Soon everyone will have tails. But I do understand that marrying a first cousin is really not risky unless there is a genetic recessive disease in the family.
I kid you not, I am my own cousin, according to my Family Tree Maker relationship calculator.
A plea bargain has to be accepted by the DA and the Judge. You think that's very likely in this case, remembering that the DA and possibly the Judge (varies by state) have to stand for reelection (or the case of the Judge, perhaps for continuance)?
He has an agenda doesn't he that won't wait for the truth to be told before his conclusion is drawn.
She was such a whack-job that I doubt she even remembered that she was her cousin.
Well keep your hands to yourself. Maybe that isn't what I mean. Just don't commit incest with your cousin. I am not sure that is what I am trying to grapple with what with your being your own cousin. It is sort of stunning to me.
It's not, unless you keep doing it for generations. For the sake of family honor, though, I feel it necessary to add that nobody in my family has married a first cousin. 2nd cousins, yes. 1st cousins, no. They had their limits.
We are living in a very dangerous world. Atlanta got hit hard this time but could be anywhere.
Here's a thread where a perp opened up on a cop with an AK 47 at about the same time the Atlanta thing was happening. This happened in the San Antonio area

Oh I get it. If first cousins marry and have a icky baby that baby is second cousin to himself. And his mom is his first cousin once removed as is his father. And his children are his second cousins once removed as well as his third cousins once removed.
Am I right on this?
I don't get it, either. I think it's some sort of mathematical technicality in the software, due to some 2nd cousin marryin' going on further up the tree.
yeah, we are honorable too. We don't marry even second cousins but we do fool around with them.
Ummm...yeah. BTW, the calculator didn't say I was my own 1st cousin, but something like my own 3rd and 4th cousin. So, it's OK...you know.
At about 5:20 we saw seven or eight police cars of various
descriptions heading west in the fast lane of I-285 between
Powers Ferry Landing and I-75/Highway 41. An hour and
a half earlier we watched a patrol car stopped for a long time
in the driveway by the old mill wheel in front of the apartments
on Akers Mill. At the same time there were two patrol cars
sitting at the edge of the ramp to I-75/Highway 41. We could
see the helicopters way off in the distance probably over
Sandy Springs.
My daughter went out to eat tonight with her girlfriend. I'm
not happy about that but she is a grown woman so...
ROFL!
I know, she ought to be at home in lockdown with the menfolk guarding the door. Young women just do their thing no matter who is wandering the streets. During the serial killer down here, all the young women sort of were staying in except for a few.
