This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.
The first descriptions on FOX & Drudge said only that he was "Medium Complexion". Later on in the day they produced a picture which identifed the killer as African-American.
It doesn't matter if he was pink with blue pok-a-dots, they should have reported it as such right from the very beginning of his escape.
This PC crap is getting tiresome isn't it?

Well, yes, I also said that some might help him. But I also said that there are very few who would, and I'm confident it won't be for long. So we're not really disagreeing.
Medium complexion is a term that the cops actually understand; simply a part of the description - height, weight, hair, eyes, clothing.
What is wrong with that?
Let's review the actual context:
A judge, two deputies and a court reporter had been shot in cold blood. The judge the comment was made about was in his own courtroom when he was brutally murdered. The sentiment "good riddance" was made in THAT context.
It was not some theoretical "good riddance to activist judges" comment. It was approving of this heinous act if the judge fit a certain profile.
The anger toward that poster is completely justified.
This sorry episode is rapidly moving into "Made for TV Movie" territory.
What is interesting is he is near a tv....and is watching the media coverage. I wonder if he has a hostage.
I, like many others, had a knee jerk "typical lib" reaction when one of his decsions was in the news last week. I am still not sure I agree with this decision.
I will say this however, everyone has had nothing but good things to say about Judge Barnes. Defense Attorneys and Prosecutors, alike. The opinions were sincere.
They all say he was good at what he did, he did what he thought was right and he was one of the good buys.
I'm taking those opinions into consideration, as should you.
Sorry, but I just gotta ask, "What the h*ll culture is that---Caveman?" Incredible, sometimes I think we only get what we deserve! Jurists who work to further their personal agenda instead of "the Law" are as high on my sh*t list as liberal judges!

I went back through the threads, and right at about 51-100 we had a description describing the perp as a black man who was bald. Later I saw on tv, the description of male, black with a medium complexion and around 200 lbs. What's so PC about that?
Medium complexion narrows the description down. Are some of us concerned that "black male" was dropped. I am honestly a little lost here.

I don't know. Maybe some markets are just describing him as a medium complexioned person which says nothing. The most accurate description is in Atlanta where it counts, and his picture has been all over the place.
