This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.
Nuke her AM..
You need to see that this statement you seem so proud of has been removed (see #1127). It might be time to quite making it. It's not as impressive as you seem to think it is.

WSB STEAMING Something happening in North Atlanta (but they say they cannot devulge exact location or details)
Many, many State troopers
Ok thanks. I know people that live in that area. This bastard better hope he doesn't try to break in on them, he may ge a shotgun to the face, if you know what I mean.
That's three times. Get lost, fruitcake.
Its still goin see 1167 I hate to call the kitties to this thread though.
Rightly Biased, lilylangtrees' statement is no more detrimental than your tag line. And don't like Hillary Clinton.
That happened to me also
They brought certain potential juries into chambers to ask further questions
When I finished explaining why ... the room was quite and the Judge thanked me for my honesty .. *L*
What kind of deranged individual are you? The judge DESERVED to be shot in the head because you don't agree with his politics? How about the court reporter? I suppose you didn't agree with her politics either?
Take a break.
Well, if deputies asigned to courts are ill-prepared for this kind of scenario, maybe they shouldn't be carrying weapons into court.
I believe Jonathan Serrie (sp?) the Fox reporter said the DEPUTIES held them, with guns drawn, for two hours in the courtroom the REPORTERS were in (covering a murder trial in another courtroom) while the DEPUTIES did a room-by-room sweep of the building. The reporters weren't being held hostage by the perp, but held to remain out of the way while the authorities looked for the perp.
I also know a number of judges who carry here in FL.
I don't think this judge had a chance.
HOWEVER, the in court clerk and judge both have "panic buttons", I think the atlanta court only had the judge with the button.
"Let's not get carried away."
Carried away? The man was on trial for a very VERY viloent crime. He'd already been caught trying to sneak a home made knife into the court on Wed. How much more warning did the Atl. cops need that this guy needed cuffs on whenthey brought him in?
You actually said it again??????
Oh good. An idiot we can all unite against. We were bored and starting to bicker amongst ourselves. ;~D
lily... Your comment outs you as the worst kind of belligerent tyrant.
By now, someone has thought of it. Let's just hope he or she tells the right person.
I don't wish Clinton dead. So you are WRONG!
i think the kind of judges who interpret law are federal appeals court judges, not criminal court judges.
I'm not a court reporter but my clients are all court reporters (I'm a proofreader)...it's making me almost physically ill thinking about the poor court reporter being killed in that way, since so many of my clients work in courtrooms. I feel terrible for everyone, but it really personalizes it for me, imagining one of my longtime friends/clients in that situation.
