What is really ridiculous is that this "reporter" Lily Morris interviewed 12 veterans or military recruits for this opinion piece. Pretty slim number considering her college is just down the road from the regional VA hospital that serves 20,000 veterans and with Fairchild AFB just a 20 minute drive away. So much for her journalism skills.

I live in Spokane and work with the veterans and help with support the troops efforts here. I am asking people to please write the newspaper. They have said that they will print any veteran or military members response to this opinion piece. We need to overwhelm them with letters.
In the meantime they refuse to write a retraction or apology. The young woman refuses to apologize. She has been on the local news spewing her views as well.

This woman's an abominable piece of crap. I've NEVER felt so much ill will towards the writer of an article I read online as I do towards her, and that's taking into account all the Maureen Dowd and Michael Moore articles I've read!
