You are right. You would never see compassion as is commonly shown here at FR on the DU site. They are, and remain, about hate. It is sad. I personally take comfort in the posts raising prayers even for those with whom we disagree (not hate, but disagree).
Prayers for Clinton.... medically, and, if God sees His way clear, politically to give him a new heart.
I have noticed that also. The DUers were filled with hate when Reagan died. (And they consider our good wishes merely fundie self-rightousness)
Not withstanding that, prayers for Clinton. He is precious in God's sight. He may not have earned our respect in many situations, but merely as president he merits it.
I'm sure Hillary is praying too. The sad thing is, I don't think she knows the God she may be praying to.
