Homeland Security Department approved 10,000 more applications for visas for high-tech and specialty workers than Congress permitted for this fiscal year.

It's actually okay JP. These are jobs undoubedly that no qualified American would want. Those potential high-tech and "specialty workers." losing their homes and cars because they can't find a job Americans!

Better to let those jobs go to foreigners who may take those trade secrets and technological data back to from whence they came so they can use it against us later! Homeland Security in this instance is an oxymoron.

Mama, you are so right! In the not too far future, we are going to not only have so many individuals out of work that the country goes bankrupt, but the companies that are left here and have outsourced will also go bankrupt when war breaks out and their workforce abandons their jobs, sells secrets or sabotage US war efforts. But somehow, the US GOvt doesnt see it, or doesnt want to see their mistake in passing trade agreements that make outsourcing so lucrative for US businesses. They will learn soon enough.
