The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

WASHINGTON - Prompted by new intelligence indicating Osama bin Laden reached out to the most feared terrorist in Iraq, President Bush charged Thursday that "al-Qaida still hopes to attack us on our own soil."

"Recently, we learned that Osama bin Laden has urged the terrorist Zarqawi to form a group to conduct attacks outside Iraq, including here in the United States," Bush said at the swearing-in of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

The president vowed, "We're working every day and night to dismantle (bin Laden's) network and to bring him to justice."

Hi tmp02...I have been following the story on the vanishing water in NJ. There was also something similar that was happening on the West Coast...as well as water wells where the temperature was increasing, and actually getting warm to hot.

I check the Earthquake USGS site on a regular basis...and the U.S. has been experienceing approx. 500-700 earthquakes per week for about 6 months.

Totally non-sequitur series of claims that I haven't read in literature. Leading up to the last statement is a wild extrapolation that ignores plate tectonics completely. These are classic examples of why you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet.

NEW YORK (AP) - Federal authorities arrested two teenage girls from Bangladesh and Guinea on charges of immigration violations after the FBI claimed that they planned to become suicide bombers and posed a threat to U.S. security, a newspaper reported Thursday.
