Canadian auditor slams security policy
Canadians have no federal plan for emergencies
Norad would be dead without Canada
Muslim congregation's arguments win over arguments of surrounding homeowners
There was a time I thought only Clancy could conjur up such a list. :-)
The list of dignitaries attending has been updated again:
UNITED STATES: President Bush and his wife, Laura; former Presidents George H.W. Bush of Houston and Bill Clinton; Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice; New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

From your link:
"Among other things, Fraser found that training to prepare police, firefighters and medical personnel to deal with chemical, biological or nuclear disasters is woefully behind. The government estimated it needed to train 6,000 people, but only about 200 are up to scratch."
Suspicious Container at Gas Station (PA)
A suspicious container filled with one of the components of a dangerous drug caused a few anxious moments on upper peach late this morning.
State police responded to the Kwik Fill station at Peach Street near Interstate 90 when the driver of a propane tank truck noticed something suspicious about a container he was picking up.
He suspected it had been filled with anhydrous ammonia, an agricultural product used in the manufacture of methamphetimine.
Troopers set up a perimeter to isolate the vehicle, and questioned employees of the gas station.

Indonesia: Cop declared suspect in church blast
I guess it all depends on what the role of Is is. From the Jakarta Post, with thanks to Twostellas:
National Police Headquarters has named a senior police officer as a suspect for his alleged role in last December's church bombings here.
Adj. Comr. Is, who serves with the Central Sulawesi Police, was named a suspect after a police investigation into his activities since January, said Central Sulawesi Police chief Brig. Gen. Aryanto Sutadi.
Adj. Comr. Is is the first senior police officer to be named a suspect in sectarian bombings in Central Sulawesi. Other police officers linked with bombings in the province have been low-ranking officers....
"The police officer is now being detained for questioning at National Police Headquarters in Jakarta. His wife was also arrested and is being questioned at Central Sulawesi Police Headquarters," Aryanto said.
Last December, hundreds of people in a church in Palu were praying when unknown assailants sprayed bullets into the congregation. Later that night, a bomb went off in another church in the city -- Immanuel Church -- injuring at least five people....
Palu is only a few hundred kilometers from the restive regency of Poso, where major bloody conflict took place in 2000. The sectarian conflict left some 2,000 Muslims and Christians dead and dozens of others fled the area for safety.

Abu Ghraib Attacks Show Terrorists Still Deadly, Bush Says
By Kathleen T. Rhem
American Forces Press Service
WASHINGTON, April 5, 2005 Two separate attacks on Iraqs Abu Ghraib prison complex in recent days are a sign that the al Qaeda terrorist group still is deadly, President Bush said at the White House today.
The attacks, which press reports indicate al Qaeda has claimed credit for mounting, are a sign that that these people will kill. They kill innocent life. Their strategy hasnt really changed, Bush said in remarks following the second Cabinet meeting of his second term. Their strategy has been one to kill as many innocent people as they possibly can, in the hopes that it shakes our confidence and shakes our will.
An evening raid by 40 to 50 armed assailants April 2 wounded up to 44 American soldiers and 13 detainees. A second attack by a suicide bomber driving a tractor April 4 reportedly killed five civilians.
Were after them, Bush said of terrorists in Iraq. And equally importantly, he added, the Iraqi citizens are after them now.
More and more citizens understand that these terrorists, like al Qaeda and (Jordanian terrorist network leader Abu Musab al-) Zarqawi, dont have their interests at heart, the president said. They dont believe in democracy, these killers. They believe in a society in which people arent going to be free to practice their religion or free to speak in the public square.
He said the American people should take heart to know that Iraqis are now allies in defeating the terrorists in their country.
Bush said Iraqis taking to the polls in Jan. 30 national elections is proof that the Iraqi citizens took toward complete defiance of the point of view of Zarqawi, who is an al Qaeda type.

"THE CAMPUS WAR ON MILITARY RECRUITERS"
By Michelle Malkin · April 05, 2005 11:41 AM
Yep, and they are contrary to America and Americans to boot. Lots of terrorists make their homes in Canada. Some of their politicians are so smug and anti-American (the term "French-Canadian" speaks volumes). I'm certain, however, we'd help Canada and Canadians if the need arose, no matter how rude their behavior. If they prefer the company of terrorists, who are we to disagree with their choices? Even more reason to watch our backs and borders!
