The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Threat Matrix - Daily Terrorism Threat

U.S. works 'day and night' to rein in al-Qaida
Full Story

WASHINGTON - Prompted by new intelligence indicating Osama bin Laden reached out to the most feared terrorist in Iraq, President Bush charged Thursday that "al-Qaida still hopes to attack us on our own soil."

"Recently, we learned that Osama bin Laden has urged the terrorist Zarqawi to form a group to conduct attacks outside Iraq, including here in the United States," Bush said at the swearing-in of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff.

The president vowed, "We're working every day and night to dismantle (bin Laden's) network and to bring him to justice."

OPINION: That's an interesting dilemma.

Now, most schools have a policy of no guns within (put distance here) of a school.

Of course, no school would want to be sued for not being able to protect their students, staff and faculty from POTENTIAL harm.

It would seem to me, that if MS13 is within 6 blocks of a school; the prudent man would: require more armed personnel on the school grounds, a fence should go up around the school, maybe cement blocks should be put in strategic areas, a metal detector should be installed, the police should be REQUIRED to give your school extra daily patrols and radio log them after each one, and any students with gang affiliations should be suspended from school. That's for starters.

What do you think about that, ExSoldier?
