Jeepers, thanks for the thread! I'm sorry I missed it.

I can't face Ellen before breakfast.

Actually, now that I think about it, I can't face her after breakfast, either.

So thanks again for your post!

Thanks for the report. I cannot watch Ratner any more so I turned to the weather channel while she was on. My loss today. The Pres looked like he was on a roll yesterday during his SSec appearance. He's got them on the run--the terrorists, dictators and the Dems.

But I bet you deep down, ratner has the same beleifs and feelings as the former clinton aide, sonderberg, who basically said on The Daily Show, that she didn't want the War on Terror to succeed because it is bad for democrats.

Bwahahahah, I saw that. And if you know Ratner, as you obviously do, this was beyond amazing and quite telling. On the McCain comment about Hillary! not running, I had not heard that he said that, but Ratner is, of course, right about her running so, unfortunately, she (Ratner) will not be going away any time soon.

I'm with you both: of all the talking Dem heads, I find Ratner perhaps the least tolerable. She is the most unalloyed, down-the-line, entirely predictable, deeply unoriginal rote reader of the Dem screen prompter I've ever seen.

That's what makes her performance today so absolutely stunning. You know that she looks to the DNC to provide the script for her ever week. This time, word must have come down from Dean HQ: "sorry, Ellen, we got nuthin' for you."

LOL. And since she is apparently unable to think for herself, she was screwed. Awwwwww.....

GMTA - see #9. Ratner is the canary in the Dem mine. She is wobbly and has stopped singing. Are we approaching a Democrat end of days? ;-)

Here's a link to a vidclip of that, for those who haven't seen it. You have to wait for a short ad.

Well worth a watch. I believe a significant number of Lefties think like this. I'm arguing with one right now, on another forum. He's not this blatant, but his anti-Bush spin is just breathtaking.

Clinton wanted the Nobel Peace Prize for quieting the Middle East and bringing it democracy.

But it looks like Bush will get it.

Oh, wait a tick: The Nobel prizes are only granted to communists, so, Bush is out for that one.

I'm really glad to hear this. We have to keep supporting President Bush and America because Freedom and Liberty is working.

I didn't know that Jimmah "Peanut man" Carter was a communist. I thought he was just a dunce. Learn something new every day. (On a side note, I wish that rabbit would have gotten him)

Are we approaching a Democrat end of days?

At least to the same degree we saw the end of Republican days after FDR!

Deep down, I believe we are witnessing the last days of a major political party --- an event not often witnessed in the US.

This started in the Clinton era.

Back during WWII, WWI, and even before, although Dems and Reps had their differences, they united against every foreign foe.

When Clinton ascended, I remember -- even in my relative political ignorance -- I remember being struck by the visceral hate he had for Republicans. I recall him doing or saying something that made it clear Republicans, to him, were much worse than foreign enemies. I was, in my naivete of that time, shocked.

Now it's old hat. I'm never surprised to hear that a DemonCrap would rather America crash and burn, than to see one more Republican elected.

I often think the same, but then I see Eleanor Clift and am suddenly not so sure.

He was a Democrat, wasn't he?

It's a distinction without a difference.
