Slight correction in my picture...I think this one is more Daschle-esque.

Did y'all notice that snippet in the article that says Daschle hasn't got a new job, yet. He's still "deciding" what he wants to do.

It's a cinch that no building in his home state of South Dakota will have this "honor". We haven't seen anything of Daschle since the election...I guess he like Kerry went back to his wife's east coast mansion and rolled in her money.

Somebody constructed a building with 5' 6" ceilings?

In November, the GOP picked up five seats, including Daschle's. He was the first party leader to lose a re-election bid since 1952.What about 1994 when Newt and the Contract For America knocked off House Speaker Tom Foley (D - Washington)?

It's the headquarters for the DemocRAT Senate Campaign Committee.
What the article didn't mention is that the name will rotate. Each election cycle the building will be named after the "Loser of the Year".

To laugh even harder, read:
" For Daschle, Democrats Are the Farewell Party" By Ann Gerhart Washington Post Staff Writer
Link From this report, it sure sounds like the Dems were "letting it rip" in good form, cursing and telling off Republicans (who weren't even there haha) :
Exerpt:"Ted Kennedy mustered some of his thunder to borrow from Oliver Wendell Holmes's "Old Ironsides," saying "Old Tom" was a "champion for working folk who will take their crap no more." And he meant the Republicans, of course. And Max Cleland, whom party lore lionizes as the first Democratic senator to fall to Republican character assassination, in 2002, also delivered a poem that was hardly gracious. "This message to those who attack you," he warned; "you reap what you sow, so watch your back. We're still following the leader, and you can all go to hell."
