Prayer Thread for Terri Schiavo / Terri's Fight

Yes TR, this is a hearing tomorrow at 1:30EST in Greers courtroom. Numerous issues that the Schindlers are asking. As I understand Greer is only wanting to deal with issues concerning AFTER Terri's death. We are asking God to speak and deal harshly with Greer in this hearing tomorrow.Guess you could say we are praying down " fire from heaven".

Just before I writing up this post, I went back to make sure I had prayed during the right time (like checking the door twice to make sure it is locked-lol-obssessive/complusive behavior? You bet. lol) and read the point of our covering these 24 hours up to during court time tomorrow and realized I had not actually prayed about the court proceedings. So back I went back to our Father with a P.S.

This brought a smile to my face. I often get side tracked.....in fact MORE often than not. God knows our hearts and that is what is the most important!!*G*

I'm on the schedule, but I'll also be praying at other times. My whole extended family is involved now, and we'll do our own continuous schedule similar to what we're doing here.

In a way, yes.

God, open our hearts and minds that we may be instruments of Your will in this physical world. Protect us with your full armor, and give us the resolve that will make Your Spiritual Warriors deserving of that name in both word and deed. Dear children of the King, Here is a Prayer Thread our brother Cyn has Started to Lift Up our sister Terri Schiavo in Prayer. Can any of you come and Pray for Terri's Safety and Well-Being?

We Thank You, our Merciful Master, for this Assembly of Your Dear Ones, Who Seek the Deliverance of Your daughter from All Evil. Our sister Terri is Precious to us, and we Beg Your Blessing to Rest Mightily upon our Prayers.

We Plead that Your Abilities will be Imparted to Terri's Attorney's, Granting to them Your Knowledge and Your Divine, Heavenly Wisdom. Fill their hearts with Your Spirit, and their mouths with Your Words, Convicting many of the Value of Terri's Life. Soften every heart of Stone, O Sovereign, Holy One, Turning every Enemy into a Devoted Advocate for Terri. We Ask for Great Things, Papa-Father, because You are a Great God, and in Your Hand is the heart of every man.

We Thank You, our Savior, for Keeping your Sweet One Safe from Hell's Sons. We Worship You for Your Grace and Your Goodness, so Grateful for the Compassion You have Had upon Your Child! You have Thwarted the Evil Designs of Belial's Depraved Minions; You have Sustained Your Dear One in the Face of Hell's Wrath. Great are You, our King and our God! I don't know that I could add anything to your very articulate petition--I just pray that this innocent life will be spared and that true justice will be done for her and her grieving parents. Father, into Your hands we commit her life and her future, knowing that you love her, as you do all your children; and may Your will be done. Soften the hearts who would do her harm that they might see the error of their way before it is too late!...in our Lord's name....

Teach us to love one another. To be joyful at all life given by Thee, and only to be taken by Thee.

Help all of us who have felt hate for another or anger at others or indifference toward others or superiority toward others learn to convert our feelings to understanding, knowing that these are but steps to murder, that we all are sinful and capable of this crime that we pray for Thee to prevent.

We are praying that Terri and her loving parents prevail in the horrific ordeal they find themselves in...I just sent an e-mail to our states Senators and Congressmen in regards to a BILL that is being pushed right now that would have an immediate impact on this case...it's linked through www.rightmarch.com I urge all who are praying for Terri to go to that site and contact your representitives in Washington immediately.
This woman cannot defend herself from the evils that are out to destroy her...we need to do what we can to try and make a difference before it is too late.
This situation is just so wrong...her parents want to get her the help she needs and her "husband" is fighting them all the way...I believe I read somewhere that they are trying to get divorce proceedings going too...then her parents could "legally" get her the help she so tortuously been denied.
Praying with you all that this works out...God's Will Be Done.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that even though we take leave to rest for the night, You stand watch. Guard Your children through these hours, O God, that we might rise up to renew the battle for the life of this mother's child. Softly speak to Terri in the night watch, Merciful Father ... thrill her soul in the darkness with the Comfort of Your Presence ... soothe her with heavenly music, that she, too, might awaken in strength to defeat her adversaries. prayers sent skyward to our Lord and Savior. I pray he sees her and holds her in his loving arms and gives her the strength to fight off her problems and give her family hope against those who wish to decide for her what is right. Please, Lord keep her safe and well. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We pray that the truth about Terri herself and her situation will be made public; that what is hidden will come to light. Please raise up from her community and the larger community those who are willing and able to speak up clearly and forcefully on her behalf -- who will say with courage and conviction, "Not in my backyard!"

We ask You to be with Terris family, friends, and lawyers today. May they all, from 'great' to 'small' be comforted by knowing that they are being lifted up in prayer by the family of believers in numbers they cannot know!

Give their bodies rest and comfort, their hearts peace and courage, their minds clarity, recall, discernment, and their voices strength and conviction this morning and on into court and in the days to come. Let this be so, Lord! Be with them while they are getting ready this morning, making final preparations and checking out all additional details, and even, Lord, as they are driving to the courthouse and finding a parking spot.

We pray for their courage, strength, conviction to ring in every word they say; give wings to those words so that they may find their way to hearts and minds in the court and beyond. We pray that nuggets of truth will be unearthed, exposed, in such a way that no subterfuge or sleight of hand can leave them unscrutinized.

We pray that everything we say and do is to Your glory . . . that we are brought to a better understanding of Your mind and Your heart through our involvement in Terri's fight. We pray that more people will come to You or be brought even closer to You, because of Terri's situation. We pray that more may fear You, and obey Your commandments, for that is the whole duty of man, for that is the answer to the many other problems we see and are concerned by. Nothing is beyond You.
