I know you two are 80's music fans. And yesterday was Tuesday. That's right it's a twofortuesday, a doubleshot of 80's schlock

Burning Heart
Vandenberg
Written and composed by Adrian Vandenberg
From Vandenberg's self-titled album in 1982

Does it feel the same
When he calls your name
And does it feel the same
When you play the game
Of love

When he holds you tight
Does it feel alright
Just like it used to do
When I was with you
Making love to you

This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
This burning heart in me
Won't let me be

After all this time
You still haunt my mind
I just can't seem to find
The peace of mind
I need so bad

Does it feel the same
When he calls your name
And does it feel the same
When you play the game
Of love

This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
This burning heart in me
Won't let me be
Won't let me be

This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
This burning heart in me
Won't let me be

Solo

This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
This burning heart in me
Won't let me be
Won't let me be

This burning heart of mine
It still hurts after all this time
This burning heart in me
Won't let me be

Oooh, won't you let me be

Fastway "Say What You Will"
Nowhere To Run
Nowhere To Hide
What You Doin' To Me
All This Jive
I Can See It 'Fore The Light Of Day
'Cause Now You're Gonna', Gonna' Do It My Way
You Are

Say What You Will, You Will
Say What You Will

Don't Push Me Around, If You Don't Mind
But You Keep On Doin' It To Me All The Time
I Don't Know Much, But I Can Say
You Got Me Feelin' Like A Fool Left To Pay
You Do

Say What You Will, You Will
Say What You Will

You Got Me Feelin' Like I'm Going Nowhere
Hit And Love
See In Me The Love, The Drive I Wanna' Feel
See In Me The Love, The Drive I Wanna' Feel
Tonight

Say What You Will, You Will
Say What You Will

Mercy I'm Gonna' Bleed
Nobody's Gonna' Make A Monkey Of Me
I Can Do It For You
I'd Be So Kind
'Cause If I Don't I Think I'll Blow My Mind
Tonight

Say What You Will, You Will
Say What You Will
You Will

Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs sang "Sugar Shack". I happen to like that song a lot.

Cut loose like a deuce, another runner in the night.

In the Manfred Mann's Earth Band version that was a radio hit, the lyrics were changed to "Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night." I always that it was "Wrapped up like a douche, another runner in the night."

Afternoon Delight by the Starland Vocal Band
Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
gonna grab some afternoon delight.
My motto's always been; when it's right, it's right.
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night.
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day.
And you know the night is always gonna be there any way.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
looking forward to a little afternoon delight.
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
and the thought of rubbin' you is getting so exciting.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Started out this morning feeling so polite
I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite
But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling
a little afternoon delight.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Please be waiting for me baby when I come around.
We could make a lot of lovin' 'for the sun goes down.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Yep, I remember it now. My wife has it on my Win Amp playlist.

That's "deuce." It's a car, a deuce coupe, a 32 Ford.

Cut loose like a deuce, another runner in the night.

Oh, I know that...my business partner is in the office and she's a jazz and oldies singer...we're laughing at how we "heard" different lyrics when we were young.

Cheers!

And I am ashamed, yes ashamed to admit that I am fairly certain the guy who sang it was named Michael Murphy and we did have the 45.

"Dancing Queen, by ABBA. I hate even to mention it, because once it goes off in your head, it will turn into an "earworm" and never go away."

You are so right!

Unfortunately, you just sent the earworm off into my head!
