A Jacksonville victim rights group and a state legislator urged Gov. Jeb Bush on Monday to launch a criminal probe into events that put Terri Schiavo in the hospital with severe brain damage 15 years ago.

Justice Coalition founder Ted Hires also asked the state Department of Children & Families to take Schiavo into protective custody and Florida's attorney general to initiate a civil rights investigation into her treatment and efforts by her husband to have the feeding tube that keeps her alive removed. . . .

Her parents said they filed the divorce proceedings because of Michael Schiavo's "total disregard for Terri as his wife." ....

Father Frank Pavone visited Terri 3 weeks ago and said she is VERY RESPONSIVE. She smiled and followed people around the room with her eyes. She was kissed by her father and SHE KISSED HIM BACK! She prayed with the father, and closed her eyes DURING the prayer, and opened them back up when the prayer was finished. THAT is pretty responsive... NOT PVS.

This interim report details the individuals who were on the panel, which included none other than Mary Labyak, Executive Director And CEO, Hospice of The Florida Suncoast.

In reading this report and looking through the 22 member panel, I do not see anyone representing the interests of the disabled and incapacitated.

The panel was administered by the Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy from Florida State University.

This case has been controversial for a long time. Facts are out there which make this probably the most crooked court and mishandled case ever.
1)Terri demonstrates too much cognition to be considered PVS. Brain damage is not the same thing.
2)Besides which, new research is changing the definition of and the prognosis for PVS.
3) NOBODY HAS A CLUE about what Terri's wishes would have been, the court's decision aside. Schiavo's very delayed convenient memory of her statement is self-serving. That's being kind.
4)Her priest and bishop have only rarely been allowed by Schiavo to visit her, and she a devout Catholic. She recognizes her priest and laughs at his jokes.
5)The medical care allowed by Schiavo is totally inadequate, to the point that Schiavo should be investigated for negligence. As guardian, he is BY LAW required to provide the care she needs, the care that should have been paid for by the income from the suit and the insurance. She should be in a convalescent hospital where therapy is allowed. Hospices are for the terminally ill, which she is not.
6)Schiavo has in fact deliberately denied Terri the most basic medical and dental care which would be routine to any handicapped or disaled person.
7) There is no right to abuse or neglect a disabled person because they are inconvenient.

I'm SHOCKED INTO TEARS, by Judge Greer's handling of this case. SHOCKED by the News Media's lack of honesty and journalism. SHOCKED by the trolls who bash her family. SHOCKED by the LACK OF A REAL INVESTIGATION.......and etc.
