This article was filed 1/13/05 and it nails it...for those of us wondering how Michael could punish Terri with the isolation, lack of therapy, lack of pictures, religious symbols reflective of her Catholic beliefs, flowers, sunshine and visits by friends.
The answer to how this can have happened to Terri is right here...the Judge has given his PERMISSION to Michael to do what he will with Terri via his failure to follow the Florida statues shown in this article.
Judge Greer might as well have visited Terri and slapped the same DO NOT RESUSITATE sign upon her forhead as Michael actually did on the Doctor's chart.
I just read this and I am whipped up for battle, as it were.
Now I know for a fact that Judge Greer has PURPOSEFULLY helped Michael Schiavo to wield his hell on earth upon Terri.
This is madness.
Overt judicial tyranny.
No required filings by Michael were done, no judicial review was done (no paperwork to review) as per law, on a timely basis, and it goes on and on! And even as the Schindler's attorneys have filed petition after petition to the court to demand that Michael follow the same law ALL GUARDIANS MUST FOLLOW, Judge Greer HAS REFUSED TO RULE ON EVERY ONE OF THEM.
If this is not madness and a HUGE FAILURE to protect disable people from horrific guardians......I don't know what is.
