Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.

What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.

Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.

If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.

A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.

Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

"I watched Nightline. I could have sworn that Felos had a deer in the headlights look when he said that Terri's rehab money went for "costs and fees over the years."

I started laughing at Felos when he jumped in to "correct" Mikey's answer to the lawsuit settlement question. He sounded so startled, so urgent. I think Mikey slipped up, and that caught Felos off guard.

I'm not even supposed to be here tonight, and can't stay long. Haven't read the whole thread about Nightline, but I just gotta throw in my $0.02.

To me, Mikey looked like he was robotic and zoned out or on something. Or maybe this is what possession looks like? Also it seemed like he was reciting memorized lines, and flubbing most of them. Those eye flutters gave me the impression of a man who knows he's lying, and trying to hide it.

I'm more than 10 years older than Mikey. He looks 15 years older than me. Being like him must do something to a person.

What did they do to make Mikey and Felos look the same size?

This quote from a nurse that Terri had (Heidi Law): "I personally saw her swallow the ice water and never saw her gag. [Another CAN] and I frequently put orange juice or apple juice in her washcloth to give her something nice to taste, which made her happy," Law recalled. "On three or four occasions I personally fed Terri small mouthfuls of Jell-O, which she was able to swallow and enjoyed immensely."

House Bill Helping Terri Schiavo Has Hearing Wednesday, Senate Next

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- As the days tick away before a Friday afternoon deadline by which Terri Schiavo's estranged husband can remove her feeding tube and start her week-long starvation death, members of the U.S. House will hold a hearing on a bill that could help Terri and her parents.

"We're fighting a clock," said Sen. Mel Martinez told the Washington Times.

He and Rep. Dave Weldon, both Florida Republicans, introduced legislation last week that would allow Terri's parents Bob and Mary Schindler to take their case out of the Florida court system, which has ruled in favor of starving Terri, and move it to federal courts.

The change of venue could help the Schindlers get a more favorable ruling and a new could could also issue an emergency stay if it has time to do so before Terri dies.

The Congressional bill would allow the Schindlers, and family of any similarly disabled patient, to use a habeas corpus review normally reserved for those on death row.

A patient's family must be in disagreement and there must be no advance directive spelling out the type of medical care a patient wishes prior to their incapacitation. Both apply in Terri's case.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, a Tennessee Republican, told the Times he wants to move the bill "as quickly as we can."

"She is clearly alive today. Looking at the facts, I would think that the Senate should speak if there is not some action at the state level," Frist told The Hill newspaper.

He plans to bring the bill to the floor of the Senate this week for a vote without having it go through a Senate committee.

Meanwhile, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Sensenbrenner, of Wisconsin, has scheduled a hearing for Weldon's bill for Wednesday. It already has 115 co-sponsors.

A spokesman for Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada told the Times he hasn't taken a position on the bill yet but said it should first go through a Senate committee.

The bill could run into another problem. The Senate this week is considering the budget resolution and it would require a unanimous consent agreement to bring up Terri's bill.

If Senate Democrats prevent the bill from being brought up, the earliest the Senate could vote on the legislation would be late Friday night, hours after Terri's feeding tube is slated to be removed.

Both Michael Schiavo and Terri's brother Bobby Schindler have been in Washington this week to lobby on the legislation.

President Bush would likely sign such legislation.

STill got the pain, and a cane, and a brace, and heatpads and icepacks, and some kind of lubricant injection into it. Very limited how long I can stay in a sitting position. That's the worst position. They don't think I have clots, but need to watch for symptoms and have a followup or two. Every muscle and tendon severely strained. They discovered I've got mild arthritis - and I had no idea.
