TERRI SCHIAVO MARCH 2005 DAILIES Fla's Til of the Hun Sets March Date to Starve Terri

Terri's Freepers,

Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.

What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.

Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.

If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.

A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.

Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

What can we do?

1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI

2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.

3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.

4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.

5. VISIT TALLAHASSEE AND LOBBY IN THE HALLS OF THE LEGISLATURE.

6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.

7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.

8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.

9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.

Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERY DAY, THE PAY ISN'T VERY GOOD BUT THE FRINGE BENEFITS ARE THE GREATEST. You are Great Americans and liberty is Terri's and freedom from oppression. Freepers, that is the big payoff if we continue our daunting task.

Terri's family is grateful to you and all of your prayers are being heard by the Giver of Life.

This is Terri's Fight and the battle is enjoined. JOIN US TO SAVE TERRI FROM FORCES THAT HAVE BUT ONE GOAL THAT IS AGAINST EVERYTHING AMERICAN.

CARDINAL RIGALI'S STATEMENT REGARDING THE CASE OF TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO

"Americans are watching with concern the plight of Terri Schindler Schiavo in Florida. It is a tragic situation that has grave implications for the future treatment of those who are vulnerable and reliant upon someone else to provide their sustenance and decide the level of medical care they receive. In the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, where Terri Schindler was a parishioner and a graduate of one of our high schools, we watch and pray with particular interest in her case. I urge most strongly that those charged with her care provide life-sustaining nutrition and hydration.

Mrs. Schiavo must continue to receive such ordinary treatments to meet her basic needs until the time they become life threatening or harmful. Removing food and hydration now will amount to a very painful death. It also may hasten the day when anyone deemed not living a life of subjective quality by whose definition? may suffer the same fate. This evil, if permitted, will end the life of one woman and place all of us in peril.

Terri Schiavo and all those who rely on others for their basic needs remain worthy of care because of their dignity as children of God. In the Gospel of Life (papal encyclical written in 1995), Pope John Paul II wrote, God alone has the power over life and death. But he only exercises this power in accordance with a plan of wisdom and love. When man usurps this power, being enslaved by a foolish and selfish way of thinking, he inevitably uses it for injustice and death. Thus the life of the person who is weak is put into the hands of the one who is strong; in society the sense of justice is lost...'

The Catholic bishops of Florida have strongly urged that Mrs. Schiavo should receive "all treatments and care that will be of benefit to her." I call on the faithful in the Archdiocese to join with me in prayer for Mrs. Schiavo, for her family and for all those charged with her life. I pray she receives the nourishment, hydration and loving care she needs until the Lord of Life calls her to His eternal home."

Pa. students asked to pray for Schiavo
- - - - - - - - - - - -
by David B. Caruso

March 15, 2005 | WARMINSTER, PA

It's been more than two decades since Terri Schiavo walked the halls of Archbishop Wood High School as a student, and few teachers remain who remember the shy girl at the center of the nation's most celebrated right-to-die case. And yet, few days go by when someone doesn't mention her name.

"We pray every day for her," said Margaret Fitzgibbons, a physical education teacher.

More than 1,200 students and teachers at the Roman Catholic school celebrated a special Mass for Schiavo before classes Monday morning, four days before doctors are scheduled to remove a feeding tube that has been keeping her alive.

Ian Carr, 17 said teachers frequently mention Schiavo in class. Bishop Joseph McFadden asked the students to pray that the tube will remain in place and told them it would be against Catholic teaching to allow Schiavo to die.

"As a Christian community, we must pray that all will come to recognize God as the sole proprietor of life and that he alone has the right to call us home to his kingdom in his own time," McFadden said.

Schiavo, 41, collapsed in Florida in 1990 and suffered brain damage that has left her in what some doctors say is a persistent vegetative state. Schiavo grew up in Huntingdon Valley, a Philadelphia suburb.

Her husband has been fighting for years for permission to remove Schiavo's feeding tube, saying his wife had told him she wouldn't want to be kept alive in such a state. Schiavo's parents dispute that her condition is hopeless. They say she still interacts with them and tries to speak.

Cardinal Justin Rigali asked priests at all 275 parishes in the Philadelphia Archdiocese to include prayers for Schiavo in their Sunday Masses.

Has Cardinal Rigali been told that bishop lynch is a pharisee yet? Has he been told that lynch does not join him in this? Has he been told that lynce says the schindler's and michael should 'make nice' and, basically, agree to kill Terri? Has Rigali had lynch into his office for a good old fashioned whipping yet?

The City of Pinellas Park is putting up the fencing as well as furnishing the death row cop presence for Friday. The meanest cops pull death watch duty.

Wow! What a novel idea that is.

Outrageous!!!

Been down 3 times and will be back if they pull the tube!

Terri Schiavo's Bill Clears Florida House Committees, House Votes Thursday
by Steven Ertelt
LifeNews.com Editor
March 15, 2005

Tallahassee, FL (LifeNews.com) -- Legislation designed to protect Terri Schiavo and other disabled people who haven't indicated their wishes for medical treatment heads to the full Florida House after clearing its final committee hurdle. If passed, it could prevent Terri's estranged husband from starting a painful week-long starvation process that would ultimately kill her.

The House Health and Families Council Committee voted Tuesday morning in favor of HB 701.

The bill would prevent a legal guardian from allowing a person in a so-called persistent vegetative state to die by withholding food or water. That could only happen if the patient had previously issued an advance directive authorizing it to be withheld.

Although Terri is not in a persistent vegetative state, Florida courts have sided with Michael and ruled that she is in such a medical condition. As a result, the legislation would apply to Terri and prevent her death or the death of any similar patient.

The bill now moves to a Thursday vote on the House floor and, if approved, would move immediately to the Senate floor for a vote. Governor Jeb Bush is expected to sign the measure into law.

"It is a statement of public policy that, in this culture, we don't starve people to death," said Rep. Dennis Baxley, a Republican sponsoring the bill, told the St. Petersburg Times newspaper.

Pamela Hennessy, a representative of Terri's parents Bob and Mary Schindler, applauded the vote and said she appreciated "everyone who contacted members of the Florida House to encourage favorable treatment of this very important bill to protect the lives and rights of Florida's disabled community."

The Florida legislature passed a previous bill in late 2003 days after Terri's feeding tube was removed for a second time. That bill, aimed specifically at her and authorizing Governor Bush to ask doctors to reinsert the tube, was ultimately declared unconstitutional by the Florida Supreme Court.

The Florida House Health Care Regulation and Judiciary Committees previously approved the bill.

I wish the Vatican would take this to the UN Human Rights Commission. People wrote to the UN Commission and apparently, Terri being a disabled american didn't impress them much.

I would love to get a letter like that from my rep. , but since my district is 75% Democrat, I'm not expecting one.

Emailed her anyway, and my two senators Boxer and Feinstein.

At least they're going to hear an opposing view.

Your post about the symbolism abounding just triggered something else for me. I have a friend who prays for St. Therese's intercession to help her see visibly when God wants her to do something specific. She either gets the scent of roses on her way that day, or even at times, has been given a rose by a stranger. So I guess St. Therese, whose nickname is 'The Little Flower' is busy helping out, as well as Our Lady who has always been associated with roses in particular. The symbolism had passed over me until your post!
