Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.

What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.

Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.

If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.

A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.

Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

He called one of the posters "stupid" for expressing concern about the fence that Floriduh Voter had mentioned. He/she was not trying to engage in discussion, but was there to stir up trouble only. It's not harmless to upset posters here, who are only trying to help.

I'm not talking about disagreements among posters. Since we've gotten so close to the countdown, not all of us agree on what to do next, but most of us are civil to each other and find that we agree on the next post by the same person, we disagreed with, a few posts earlier.

I didn't see all his/her posts and I'm not sure what he meant by his comment about Terri's supporters and the $100 payment, but I can guess.

I certainly believe Michael is feeling some heat. But totally agree the heat isn't coming from Greer. Michael has to worry about the other courts siding with the Schindlers. He has to worry about the DCF, the Governor, the US Congress, etc. He should be feeling some heat.

I posted recently that if DCF allows Greer or any judge/judges to get away with this, they will have NULLIFIED their entire reason for EXISTENCE! They will have in effect turned this function of theirs over to COURTS. I could not believe they would do that. They would be destroying themselves. I will have to see them do that to believe it. But I am with you all the way that the FEDS must be looked to as well, because who knows what happens, with the system in FL in the vicegrip of some very EVIL, POWERFUL people.

The FEDS won't care who George Greer is and they have the manpower to protect Terri and to investigate the corrupt court system here.

Florida has no resources because there is no state income tax. they are weak in the investigative arena. this helps greer continue down his illegal path and his little friends too.

THE FEDS WILL NOT CARE. THEY WILL CHOOSE TERRI'S CIVIL RIGHTS OVER SOME GOP JUDGE who the GOP needs to toss overboard. They got my two cents yesterday about throwing Greer overboard because he's ruining the GOP party in the entire U.S.

I am confused about the U.S. Senate acting on the Weldon-Martinez bill. Some posts said that the U.S. Senate will vote Thursday but that there is no organized opposition thus far to the bill. Yet, I read that neither Frist nor Reid are on board. Frist is still "studying" (or hand-wringing) the matter, and Reid says it must go through (slow) committees. So, how can there be a Thursday afternoon vote in Washington?

Others say the FL law won't fare any better than the 2003 version and that George W. Greer will simply ignore it.

Hi All!

This will be quick because I am writing to you from my hotel room in Tallahassee. I, along with several others, testified in front of judiciary house members yesterday at 4PM ET in support of HB701. It was quite an experience and I was especially taken back when I received an applause from the court room audience after testifying.

The words shared between the Representatives when discussing Terri and HB 701 were intense. It was an incredible discussion and I came away feeling happy that we won 9 to 2, but as well, I was very saddened to learn how there is so much ignorance coming from the people who are given the responsibility to write laws pertaining to human life. They, as lawyers and lay people know so little about medicine and what is available to us today in an effort to preserve life. Yet, they are writing laws which can ultimately affect an entire population. It is actually frightening to see this happen.

People in this country must take time to become involved in what the Government is deciding for our society before it is too late.

I must finish writing my statement now because I will again testify on HB701 in a few hours at the Health and Family House Committee. It is the last committee the Bill must pass, before the bill heads for the Senate for them to decide. If HB 701 is passed before Friday, Terri may be saved. Or, at the very least, taken out of harms way of having her tube removed this Friday. Keep the PRAYERS going for Terri..with 4 days remaining before they pull her tube, she needs MANY praying for a miracle.

I will be checking out of the hotel and heading back to Tampa after I testify at 9:30 AM, so I will not be back at a computer until late tomorrow evening.

It's been a LONG 4 days here in Tallahassee and a real eye opener to what goes on in the government and with the people writing the laws surrounding LIFE.

Someone inserted the letters US in front of the story about the FL House and Senate Bill. I am not kidding. So everyone got all confused thinking it was about the Federal Bill. They later admitted their mistake. They really did assume it was about the Federal Bill, and so inserted the "US" because the original story did not say that. As to Frist, he will be for it. Mark my words. As a physician and Senate Leader, he is just making sure he understands the Bill. Dotting i's and crossing t's. But I have said this over and over on here, and neither you nor the others believe me. Too bad. Beat your chests against Frist if you please; he will support us. Now as for Democrat Harry Reid, that is a problem.
