TERRI SCHIAVO MARCH 2005 DAILIES Fla's Til of the Hun Sets March Date to Starve Terri
Terri's Fight, The Empire Journal, World Net Daily, Life News ^ | February 28, 2005 | floriduh voter

Terri's Freepers,

Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.

What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.

Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.

If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.

A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.

Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

What can we do?

1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI

2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.

3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.

4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.

7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.

8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.

9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.

Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERY DAY, THE PAY ISN'T VERY GOOD BUT THE FRINGE BENEFITS ARE THE GREATEST. You are Great Americans and liberty is Terri's and freedom from oppression. Freepers, that is the big payoff if we continue our daunting task.

Terri's family is grateful to you and all of your prayers are being heard by the Giver of Life.

I don't think the DCF will say this. The greater danger is that the DCF will drag its feet and not file for protective custody of Terri in time to save her.

like I said last night, Greer wouldn't let the DCF lawyer speak and the next day, he ordered Terri's execution, The DCF may have filed that same day but Greer put off dealing with it so he could make his ruling. After a Judge has ruled, it is hard to change things...I am not saying it cannot be done but they are in murky water

If the agency was gonna baçk down, why, there was no reason for them to get involved in the first place. Theodore, listen to this...their JOB BY STATUTE is to remove people from abusive situations if necessary. Now if they let a judge tell them no, I'm gonna kill this person whose case you're investigating, then ALL ANY ABUSER WOULD NEED TO DO IN THE FUTURE IS FIND A JUDGE WHO WOULD TAKE THEIR SIDE IN A LEGAL DISPUTE INVOLVING AN ABUSE SITUATION, AND THOSE ABUSERS COULD IGNORE THE DCF AND THE DCF COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT IF THEY LET GREER STOP THEM NOW.

Yes, but "moderate Republican" Atty. General Charles Crist has done just that -- refused to investigate the abuse of Terri because it is "in the courts."

CHOCOLATE ROSE WROTE:
Sounds sorta like the Pontius Pilate ploy--"washing his hands"?

GREER ALLOWED FELOS TO REMAIN IN COURTROOM, AND HAD A SECRET MEETING. GIBBS HAD TO LEAVE.

IMO, That can NOT be legal. Floriduh Voter posted this earlier. What is going on? Did Gibbs object to the meeting between GREER AND FELOS? I do NOT think Felos has been afraid of the DCF, because he knew how GREER would rule.

This whole thing is PURE INSANITY~!!

Good for Michael Savage. I'm hoping to catch it on the replay later.

I think Sean is going to have something about Terri on Hannity and Colmes tonight.

Schindler Family Calls for Judge's 'Immediate Impeachment'
Melanie Hunter
Deputy Managing Editor

(CNSNews.com) - A spokesman for the family of Terri Schindler Schiavo said Thursday the Florida judge residing over her case "ignores the state's laws and orders the premeditated killing of a disabled Florida woman by her husband."

Pamela Hennessy, media director for the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, in a press release Thursday called on disability and eldercare advocates to press for Circuit Judge George Greer's "immediate impeachment."

"If there is a single person following this who doesn't believe Judge Greer has legislated from the bench, trampled Florida's laws and deprived Terri Schiavo of her retained rights, they are simply not paying attention," Hennessy said in a statement.

According to the foundation's press release, on Tuesday and Wednesday Greer issued three orders that the foundation said all but assures Schiavo's death. First, Greer ordered that the family may not introduce oral nutrition and hydration following the removal of Terri's gastric feeding tube.

The foundation pointed out that Florida Statute 744.3215 (Rights of Persons Determined Incapacitated) requires that incapacitated people cannot be deprived of food and water.

"Ordering that Terri Schiavo may not receive nutrition or hydration naturally is against the law, in the opinion of the Foundation," it said in a statement.

Second, according to the foundation, Greer ruled that no further neurological tests may be conducted on Terri, using functional MRI to determine if she is in a "persistent vegetative state," as Greer found in 2002, or if Terri is "minimally conscious."

The foundation pointed out that Florida Statute 765.404, which defines persistent vegetative state, requires that the condition be determined and diagnosed as permanent prior to the withdrawal of life-prolonging means. Also, Florida Statute 765.309 prevents mercy killing and assisted suicide.

The foundation unless the "true neurological condition of Terri Schiavo" is determined prior to the removal of the feeding tube, Greer's order amounts to "a directive for her guardian to commit either a mercy killing or assisted suicide."

And third, "Greer denied an order from a judgment based on his error in dismissing pertinent testimony in 2000 that would assist the court in determining Terri Schiavo's true end of life wishes," the foundation added.

It pointed to Florida Statute 765.404, which says clear and convincing evidence of the ward's intent for medical treatment must be established.

"The only evidence in support of removing Terri's feeding tube was the self-serving hearsay testimony of her guardian (which is not admissible under FS 90.602) and hearsay from two members of his immediate family," the foundation said.

"Greer systematically ruled that testimony from Terri's friends and family was unreliable or not credible. His failure to consider all evidence of Terri Schiavo's attitude towards life-prolonging measures, in the Foundation's opinion, is a clear violation of Florida Statutes," it concluded.

A doctor from Westchester County called Levin's show and said that he's seen them turning off life support for fully conscious patients.

He said they have done this for very sick patients to save $$.

The doctor said every patient has a right to the best care.

Mark Levin said that socialized medicine causes this kind of thing.

I wonder how Bill Clinton would like Hillary-care?

If Hillary ever becomes president, we better all watch our backs if we become very sick.

Yes, I'm kind of back. I recommend avoiding the 2005 virus at all costs. It is a stunner. I can relate to the starvation concept even better now though. I haven't been eating much since Saturday. It's a horrible feeling.

JUDGE GREER IS A CRIMINAL. HOW LONG BEFORE HE GETS HIS DUE? I would hate for Terri to be killed in cold blood by his ERRONEOUS ORDER (the only such death warrant ever issued for an American).

GREER IS MORE EMBOLDENED EVERY DAY. He thinks that invertening is interfering. He doesn't want to get caught so he's sticking with the BAD guys all the way. arrest is too good for Greer but it would help. Thanks for your great project!

GEORGE GREER IS NOT A TRUE GUARDIANSHIP JUDGE. HE HAS NO COMPASSION AND TRULY ALL HE'S DONE TO ENABLE MICHAEL AND THE DEATH LOBBY AND THE ACLU, SHOWS SO MUCH BIAS, how long does he think he can go on? I guess until the tube is removed. I'll be asking for someone to investigate Greer AGAIN. We need to start asking that he be pulled from the bench and TRIED FOR TWO ATTEMPTED MURDERS, FOR FRAUD, TORTURE AND ABUSE. He's no guardianship judge, he's A MOBSTER.

Thanks for the Sensenbrenner major push. I think the US Congress is realizing that Florida is TOO WEAK against our unwielding judiciary to actually step in and help Terri.

This is really up to the Feds. Including investigating how GREER HAS GOTTEN AWAY WITH THE MISTREATMENT OR TERRI ALL THESE YEARS.

ACLJ-Jay Sekulow's Trial Notebook

UPDATE - Another Disappointing Court Decision in the Terri Schiavo Case

Florida Judge Greer this afternoon rejected a request from the Florida agency wanting to intervene in the case of Terri Schiavo to investigate allegations of abuse. Judge Greer said the Department of Children & Families will not be permitted to intervene in the case and rejected the agency's request for a 60-day delay in the removal of Terri's feeding tube, which is scheduled to be removed on March 18th. Judge Greer said the agency's request to intervene at this point was inappropriate and "appears to be brought for the purpose of circumventing the court's final judgment . . . in violation of the separation of powers doctrine." I am disappointed by this development.

Florida attorney David Gibbs, who is representing Terri's parents in this ordeal, has done a remarkable job at raising important issues before the court. But as I have said many times, this is a difficult legal road and it is an uphill battle.

I am putting together final plans to deploy members of our legislative team from Washington to Florida next week to assist in the legislative efforts underway there to save Terri's life. Legislation has been cleared one House committee and is moving forward. At the same time, federal legislation has been introduced in Congress and I will be talking to one of the bill's sponsors, Rep. Dave Weldon of Florida, on my radio broadcast on Tuesday. And thousands of people from across the country continue to respond to our efforts to urge the Governor and Florida legislature to do whatever they can to help save Terri's life. I encourage you to sign on to our petition today.

Associated Press - Florida Judge Rejects Request from FL Agency to Intervene in Terri Schiavo Case"

March 10, 2005
by MITCH STACY
Associated Press

TAMPA, Fla. - A judge ruled Thursday that the state's social services agency cannot delay the removal of the feeding tube keeping brain-damaged Terri Schiavo alive.

The Department of Children & Families had asked for a 60-day delay in the removal of the feeding tube, now scheduled March 18. The agency said it wanted time to investigate allegations of abuse and neglect by the woman's husband, Michael Schiavo.

But Circuit Judge George W. Greer ruled that the agency's attempt to get involved at this point was inappropriate and "appears to be brought for the purpose of circumventing the court's final judgment ... in violation of the separation of powers doctrine."

Michael Schiavo's attorney had criticized the last-minute attempt by DCF to get involved, saying that it was engineered by Gov. Jeb Bush and others in the state government who support the plight of her parents who are trying to keep her alive.

Michael Schiavo has gotten a court order to remove the feeding tube, contending that his wife told him she wouldn't want to be kept alive artificially. A 1990 heart attack cut off oxygen to her brain for five minutes, leaving her in what the court has ruled is a vegetative state with no consciousness. She breathes on her own but depends on a tube in her abdomen for food and water.

But her parents doubt she had those end-of-life wishes and are trying to block removal of the feeding tube.

The judge's ruling was another major blow to Bob and Mary Schindler, who have fought their son-in-law in court for nearly seven years over their daughter's fate. They dispute that she is in a persistent vegetative state, saying she laughs, cries, interacts with them and tries to speak when they visit her at her hospice.

The DCF said it wanted to investigate accusations against Miachel Schiavo - who is her legal guaridan - that included denying his wife some medical treatment and therapy, isolating her in her room with the blinds closed, failing to fix her broken wheelchair and failing to file timely guardianship plans.

In his order, Greer noted that those and many other allegations have been investigated in the past and failed to yield any evidence of abuse and neglect by Michael Schiavo.

Other than trying to appeal judge's decisions that have gone against them this week, the Schindlers will look again to the state Legislature and perhaps the U.S. Congress for help. Both bodies have bills in the works that lawmakers say could save Terri Schiavo's life.

In Tallahassee Wednesday, a House committee approved a bill requiring doctors to provide nutrition and hydration to incapacitated patients who didn't leave an advance directive. It still needs approval from two more committees before facing the full House.

Bush, who has said he would do anything within his power to save Terri Schiavo, supports the bill.

The governor in October 2003 pushed a law through the Legislature authorizing him to resume the woman's artificial feedings six days after the court stopped them. The law subsequently was ruled unconstitutional by the state Supreme Court.

On Tuesday, U.S. Rep. Dave Weldon and U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez, both Florida Republicans, introduced legislation in Washington that could give the Schindlers access to federal courts in the effort to save their daughter's life. Their bill requires that incapacitated people who don't leave advance directives have attorneys appointed to give the case a full review before artificial life support
