That's a good one. Maybe it's the late hour, but it seems to be a catch 22, doesn't it.

I know we're seeing less and less every year. We used to go every weekend and now it's about every other month. 50 or so down to less than 10... I think a lot of folks on FR have trended that way, based on what one reads here.

As far as it being a cesspool, I wouldn't go that far. I think they're into themselves to too great a degree, if anything. Who cares what they have to say about current events.

I see them as court jesters... just entertain and leave. If the subject matter of the film is over-the-top, we can avoid it. But it is their incessant pontificating that the rest of us don't get an audience for, that aggravates me.
