I am certain that GWB is well aware of this and he is privy to so much we are not that outward appearances can be very different to what we would think they should be because we do not know and should not know what is actually happening and being said behind the scenes.

BTW, does anyone know how much oil the U.S. imports from the mideast? I thought most of our oil came from Mexico, Canada, Venzuala, and our own Gulf, with 10% or so from the mideast.

I think Bush also knows that you keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
