President Bush continued his European trip today as he spoke in Bratislava, Slovakia to an enthusiastic crowd. The President later met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and both later spoke to the media. The First Couple also gave their best wishes to Pope John Paul II, who is recovering from emergency surgery. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
He is indeed a great man and I truly hope that history will faithfully show that to future generations worldwide.
That lady, with all those years, undoubtedly endured a lot during the hellish Communism era that we can't even imagine.
Kissing W was the thrill of her life, I bet.
THAT'S OUR COWBOY! Great pic of both of them, many thanks for that one.
"I SEE A TREND HERE.
If peace is achieved and democracy spreads in the Middle East, the Stone Masons had better sharpen the carving tools for Mt. Rushmore, cause that is where Dubya will be"
I see a trend as well . . . our Dubya may need his own mountain!!
[Thank you for your prayers!]
It's sad.
It's sad that people that are oppressed are more free than those that mock freedom. At least they understand the true meaning of freedom.
The rest of the world thinks the highlight of freedom is the ability to purchase the caffinated drink of their choice.
***Except the hammer and sickle had been BROKEN OFF! I get goose bumps just remembering it.***
How wonderful! Those few words say SO much!
"the Stone Masons had better sharpen the carving tools for Mt. Rushmore, cause that is where Dubya will be... our Dubya may need his own mountain!!"
oh hell yeah!
Ari's book will more than likely be a book that is enjoyable. Doubt he'll be on 60 minutes.
Miss him.
He's going to Afghanistan to meet the troops and Rush :-)
I miss Ari too!
My favorite memory of Ari is from the "Barney Reloaded" video, he was playing poker with Barney. Remember Andy Card bursting in, scolding them both, "Ari Fleisher, you don't even work here anymore!" Ari was cracking up and it was priceless.
Excellent post, Soul Seeker. Thank you for it.
Great post!
It's so good to have you back and posting your wonderful, insightful articles.
(You're still in my prayers, Dr. Deb.)
You're right. We in America and in Europe and Canada are so spoiled and so insulated from reality that we've forgotten the meaning of freedom and what it costs to get it and keep it. Those people have not forgotten.
I'd take one of those people into a fight with me over a thousand Ward Churchills .
Now that you mentioned that, I think when Rush called in on his 1st day in Afghanistan he said he was supposed to have met w Karzi that day but schedules were changed and I'm almost postive he said he'd meet w him on Fri, and, that he preferred that as he would have had a chance to see the country and met people before he met him.
Ari? Oh, GREAT!
Hi, all....do so love the pics with the "people"......just to feed the "fire" about the President's upcoming whereabouts....I heard Rush say he could NOT talk about his next 2 days.......soooo......maybe, maybe the President IS on his way there, to Afghanistan!

wow...! Something to look forward to (I hope!)?

Maybe we need a new mountain, just for Republicans. Reagan and Dubya. And maybe someday Condi.
