President Bush continued his European trip today as he spoke in Bratislava, Slovakia to an enthusiastic crowd. The President later met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and both later spoke to the media. The First Couple also gave their best wishes to Pope John Paul II, who is recovering from emergency surgery. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

We're going SNOWboarding for Spring break. But after that, spring is more than welcome to come on this way.

It was almost 14 years. I was in high school.

I'm sure they are different now - heck, it's not even called Czechoslovakia anymore :-)

But I was really blessed - I got to go to France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii - all before I graduated from HS!

My pleasure before I learned to post pics others helped me so just returning the favour plus it is such a lovely photo showing their happiness in each other.

It's humbling, I'm awestruck and struck by the sense of responsibility we have to make sure their hope is fed. This is our destiny. To give back and we've been blessed with.

IMHO this is the duty of all of the free world but France and Germany only want what is personal interest for them and deep down do not even want their own people free IMHO of course.

Can I grin over the president, just a little — even though the topic is quite serious (a nuclear Iran)? In Brussels, he said, "This notion that the United States is getting ready to attack Iran is simply ridiculous. Having said that, all options are on the table."

I can't tell you how much I love that — it's better than "Now watch this drive." President Bush has almost zero patience for boilerplate, even though he repeats it (as he must). And he just can't help showing his impatience.

Also, I tend to like it when Bush is snippy. Remember when Gore said to him, over the phone on Election Night 2000, "You don't have to get snippy with me"? I'd bet a million dollars that Bush was, in fact, snippy.

Look at this. I snagged this off Chrenkoff blog

Drudge reports: "President Bush addressed Slovakian citizens on the merits of freedom during an open air public address in Bratislava on Thursday. But a cropped photo in USA TODAY showed Bush under the words 'BRAT'!"

Well, (says Chrenkoff) the joke on them - in many Slavic languages, the word "brat" means "brother" - which was my first thought when I saw the photo without reading the rest of the story: "How nice of 'USA Today' to underline the closeness of the relationship between President Bush and the Eastern European countries!"

He is already genuinely beloved and revered, as you say, by millions upon millions around the world. He truly is the champion of the people. And the elitists and the old media here and in Europe and their hateful allies in the Middle East, just absolutely HATE it.

I'm in complete agreement with you. Actually I'm hoping that witnessing the birth of free peoples in the M.E. will remind them of what they have forgotton, and that the newly freed countries of Europe will help guide "Old Europe" in how to handle this discovery.
