If I were those two, I would be sweating making love on honeymoon night and hearing loud ghostly chuckles.... it would be Diana saying thank God she isn't there... :)

I hear she was quite surprised that she had done so, upon waking up the next day.
To: MadIvan
I thought that would be the popular desire of the masses anyway.

Thanks for posting Ivan...I don't know what it is with the fascination with the royals. Just plain great entertainment I tell myself after 200+ posts. (And you've provided me with some great history).

I was rather hoping Charles would stand aside, eventually. If the statement that the monarch cannot be married outside the CoE is correct, this was his standing aside.

Am I the only one here who sees the fascination with monarchy as a celebration of human tyranny? Nah -- the foibles of royalty have devolved into history repeating itself as farce rather than tragedy, as a wise man once put it.

You raise an interesting point. Last Cindy Adams wrote in her column in the New York Post that Camilla was battling cancer after being a heavy smoker for many years. Then nothing further was reported. I don't know what happened to that story.

"Adultery" is rolled into the "tacky" part. It's just low-life trashy behavior all around that belongs on Jerry Springer's show, not in palaces. Perhaps "trash" would be a better word?

I heard here in the Seattle area on the local radio last week that the teacher who is marrying her former student and father of her 2 kids Mary Jo somebody is registered at KIDS 'R US !!!!!!!!! Wedding to be in April.
To: Citizen Soldier
and if the store refused to accept the registration, they'd get sued....

Yep, but out here in the land of stolen governorships it's okay. They are also registered on-line with Macy's.
