Asking St. Jude's help, here:
Most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you, universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Please pray for Terry, she is so helpless and alone. Please make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Please come to her assistance in these great needs, that she may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all her necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly let her continue to be fed, to live, and to have visits from her priest and family. And I promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of these great favors, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.

Why does this have to be so difficult? Award custody of Terry to her parents and send him packing. Then there won't be this controversy.

That's good.
The deliberate cruelty of the proposed tortuous death by starvation/dehydration must be made front and center for the immediate reprieve.

What I don't understand is, what does he stand to gain by her death that a divorce wouldn't do?
Does he have a life insurance policy out on her?

I actually think there is a life insurance policy out on her.

What I don't understand is, what does he stand to gain by her death that a divorce wouldn't do? The fact that the chance disappears for her possible recovery and ability to say that Michael is the one who put her in this shape to begin with.
Or so some folks believe...

I think I read somewhere that he does have a sizeable life insurance policy on her--but I sure don't remember where I read it!
