"They should replace the words 'Virginia Man' with Islamic terrorist."

I relate and sympathize. I still get homesick for VA. The mass media would MUCH rather besmirch that great Commonwealth than call a terrorist a terrorist.

They must have gotten the CAIR memo demanding they drop the "Arab American" from terrorist descriptions too.

Abu Ali was born in Texas and holds dual US-Jordanian citizenship. He was valedictorian of his high school class in Falls Church, Virginia, and was studying at a Saudi university when he was arrested in June 2003, the lawsuit said. His parents and siblings live in Falls Church, a suburb of Washington.

I am completely opposed to the proposition evidently being offered on this thread that the media omit the FACT that this man was born in the U.S. (Texas) and did in fact live in Virginia.

It is completely appropriate that that information be given. It is very clear from his name and trip after 9/11 to join al Qaeda what he was up to.
