For two full weeks, we lived in a land which had no smoking rules or regulations, and it was a paradise!
I must plead guilty your honor...
Often, I would go out of my way to blow my cigarette smoke into the face of Americans. Absolute revenge, and there was nothing they could do about it.
If any American dared to get upset about cigarette smoke, they obtained a DOUBLE DOSE of my second-hand smoke right in their face.
The Mexicans just laughed and understood exactly why I did what I was doing.
And smokers wonder why the nonsmokers keep tightening the noose.
The Mexicans just laughed and understood exactly why I did what I was doing.
Do they know about U.S. smoking bans or just the general complaint about people smoking was what they laughed at?
Do you have a link to any information at the resort you went to? Do they have any golf courses included?
While I don't condone intentionally blowing smoke in the face of others.........I do understand your reason.
Reminds me of the time an old girlfriend and I flew to Cancun, Mexico, and I blazed up right in the airport.
She gave me a shocked look and said, "You can't smoke in the airport!"
To which I replied, "Hell, this is Mexico, baby! There ain't no law down here!"
Ever tried any of Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo-brand tequila? Heaven in a bottle, and at $40 a pop, it had better be! ;-D
