I was rooting for him in the primaries. What's he up to now?

Yeah, he was talking on Medved's show about Isakson, in part. He said that Isakson signed on to the Fair Tax during the campaign, but now he is back peddling on it. And he said he is going to hold him to his word.

Herman's new organization is http://www.newvoicefoundation.org/ and it is designed to hold politicans responsible for the claims that they make during campaigns.

BIG disappointment for me when he lost. My 11 year old son almost had a conniption. : )

I hope he runs again.

He will run again, but he has ruled out the Lt. Gov race in 06. But I think he is very likely to go for Gov of GA in 2010.

"You're kidding! Isakson lied about supporting the fair tax?

I'm a strong supporter of HR-25 (see my tag line.) Isakson will be hearing from me."

THANK YOU! They're supposed to represent your views to the House....and we need all the help we can get.

Ping to Ancient Geezer

Cain said on Medved that Isakson has been backtracking in his support of the bill.

"You're kidding! Isakson lied about supporting the fair tax?

He hasn't signed as a HR25 Cosponsor, time to get all over his case about it. Especially since the prime reason he's in is that he did not take a view on the Fair Tax Act in opposition to his opponents in the Georgia Senate race.

A Taxreform bump for you all.

If you would like to be added to this ping list let me know.

John Linder in the House(HR25) & Saxby Chambliss Senate(S25), offer a comprehensive bill to kill all income and SS/Medicare payroll taxes outright, and provide a IRS free replacement in the form of a retail sales tax:

H.R.25,S.25
A bill to promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national retail sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.

Refer for additional information:

Let Isakson know how you feel

Isakson needs to keep his promise.

Johnny's gonna leave the door open for a crushing defeat by Hermann should Johnny back track on his support for HR 25...

thanks guys. I am so thankful that there is a man out there like Mr. Cain who is making it a point to challenge the status quo of Washington DC. It is been long overdue that someone new comes along and actually does what they say they will do.

johnny, GA voted for you, and a big part of that was because you said you were bringing conservative principals to the table. Do what you promised or get out!
