Somewhere in another part of town a Democrat says the same thing about Republicans I will never vote for a Democrat again, I have seen what they do and it scares me That way lies madness, that is how X42 got away with what he did. Do you really trust the Republicans so much that you will commit voting for them today in 2008? 2012?? 2016??? without knowing what they will pushing, if they will even be supporting the US constitution or the UN?

I am frightened for this nation, not because of the Democrats or Republicans, but the blind are following the blind. I guess it is inevitable that we become a dictatorship. As long as the reins of power are in the right hands.

Sorry. Loyalty is near the top of my list. Sean lost mine. He won't get it back any time soon.

Excellent resonse sir. Great segment on Mr. Hannity the other day (on the radio). Thanks for setting some of these idiots straight. I've said it time and again, NO one works harder for conservative causes than Sean. NO one.

Congratulations on the success of your new book, can't wait to buy it.

"One of the drawbacks of his time slot is that most of the big news of the day has already been covered. A lot of his show may sound like a re-hash but that is not his fault. You have to remember hosts like Ingram, Rush, Boortz and Tony Snow have already had a chomp at the apple before Sean. All things considered he does an excellent job IMHO."

I couldn't agree more. I think he offers a pretty fresh perspective considering most of the news of the day has already been disected by several others. And like you say, Hannity doesn't have 15 million listeners for nothing. I imagine there are many who don't listen to Rush and the others and only listen to him, because they like his style. It's mostly a matter of preference, but I'd say it's pretty evident that the people who don't like Sean are in the minority. He shouldn't waste his time on them because he'll never please them. There's plenty who do like him a lot.

Excellent take. Those who don't like Sean should go over to Air America maybe it will suit them better.

"We need to give Hannity alot of credit because he is the type that can pull middle of the roaders into the conservative fold. My wife is living proof. As a matter of fact she was a democrat from a long line of Hispanic democrats. Her mother is still a die hard democrat. Once Hannity hooks 'em and gets them listening .......!"

And winning new converts to conservatism is the name of the game, after all. "The choir" (politically informed) may get tired of hearing the same "sermons" over and over again, but they forget that that "milk" is not meant for them, but instead for the political infants.

As in the religion they embrace, most people's politics are NO DEEPER THAN, "If it was good enough for my daddy, it's good enough for me", or some variation of that reality. And a lot of Americans grew up in DemocRAT families.

That's why it's so difficult to "reason" with people on these two subjects. They have an emotional - not a rational - attachment to their "beliefs".

They have to be approached in a non-threatening manner.

And if anybody hasn't picked up on it yet, it is the up-beat, fun-loving, "optimistic-for-the-future-of-America" talk-show hosts that ATTRACT the biggest audiences - politically-oriented or not. Once you have them listening regularly ... it's only a matter of time for most rational people - unless they have an agenda.

The negative, on air chicken-littles (on the left and on the right - flip sides of the same coin) whose daily mantra is some variation of: "The sky is falling and we're all going to die" are only able to attract other losers like themselves on any consistent basis. They will never positively influence, or obtain large audiences like the up-beat talk-show hosts do. (Michael Savage - are you listening?)

Sean, you should read (or re-read) Kipling's poem, "If" and Teddy Roosevelt's "In the Arena" speech. You are in the arena so you are taking shots. You're a great American even if you do plug the rest of the show a tad much.

You know, when they critique one of there folks, we jump on it too. doesn't matter the side of the aisle, it happens. A current thread running is Geffen says Hillary can't be elected. Sometimes you've got to take a stand. And when you take a stand it sometimes gives fodder to the other side. It's called life. If we're strong, we can live with it.

Of course I will check what they say. Anyone on this forum is not unaware of political objectives in politicians.

Yet, as long as they promote abortion, anti-America or blame America for all world ills or are still promoting socialistic agendas they will never get my vote. Also, as long as they promote taking God out of America - none will get my vote.

You see - I look for the values that drive the political parties - not what they say they will do. We are quickly evolving into two cultures in America - the older values of God and country, decency and honor and the other - abortion, no God or moral restrictions, the populace to feed all into the government for the elitest to determine how the populace is to live.

It is very clear to me which group I fall into and I will fight for it.

Now that's the way to treat your customers. If they don't like it go somewhere else. My former employer used to do that. There's a lot of companies who now will no longer do business with them, even under new ownership because they were told to go elsewhere.

Very well put, I agree completely with your arguments.

One thing about Hannity's radio show that causes me to change the channel on him is the constant adoration that callers pour out for Hannity in their first minute on the show. It almost appears that to get past the call screener one must express an enduring love for Hannity.

I believe that ideas far outweigh the value of the messenger and Hannity's show seems to spend too much time praising the messenger and not enough time espousing the ideas.

Rush and Savage while they also market themselves to some extent seem to get their ideas expressed better than Hannity.

"To late, Hannity. I never liked your TV show anyway. Further, you are becoming more and more pompous, an ugly trait I don't like in folks."

Your opinion isn't issue-oriented, its personal - it is founded in this prejudiced premise, "I never liked Hannity". Your opinion, therefore, has no credibility with critical thinkers.

It's not about "you" and what "you" like. Sorry.

Thank you for directing me to your comments. And overall they are good. However, I can guarantee you Sean will ask or tell each liberal guest on the show tonight "they hate the President" or "why do you hate the President?" Are there that many people who have never figured out that liberals have a strong dislike or in all likelihood hate the President? What's that got to do with anything? Didn't we hate Clinton? Didn't we hate Jimmmy Carter? Didn't we hate Lyndon Johnson? Didn't we at the time hate John Kennedy (pre-assination)? It's highly unusual for partisans to not strongly dislike or hate a leader in the other party.

Will Sean shout down a liberal while making a point tonight with the talking point of the day? Yep. Hey, if liberalism is so stupid, it won't stand on it's own legs. Let the speaker talk themselves into a corner. Heck, there are times that he even shouts down those decidedly in his corner.

As I have stated, we are his customers, not the other way around. He's not wanting to listen to the Voice of the Customer. In business, that's one of the roots of Six Sigma, delivering and delighting the customer.

Change the channel is not delighting the customer. Someday the customers will take the advice and go away.
