The tendancy to be an alcoholic is probably biolgical.

Does not mean being a drunk is no bad.

Also does not mean one cannot overcome a predisposition.

He claims it is science but produces no evidence. Just thinking or saying it is scientific doesn't make it so.

Homosexuality is the same as liking a particular hair color. It may be a preference but you don't have to only go with that one way of being.

One interesting spin on theories #10 and #13 that I've heard recently is that homosexuality is caused or exacerbated by the use of infant formula. This unnatural supplement causes post-natal hormone imbalances, and correlates to the relative explosion in homosexuality which has occurred since infant formula was introduced.

To steal your quote and change it a bit:

The tendancy to be a pedophile is probably biological.

Does not mean being a pedophile is not bad.

Also it does not mean one cannot overcome a predisposition.

The desire to have sex is biological.

How, when, and with whom is learned.

beat me to the punch..... great minds must think alike. Either that, or our analogy is just plain obvious.

If homosexuality is biological then please explain to me why the Bible calls it an abomination. And while you are at it, give some more examples from the Bible that shows that other sins are biological. We are born with a sinful nature but we are aware of what sin is.(Right and wrong)

If you believe in reincarnation, I have an interesting perspective, try this one on for size....

When God tells you it's time to come back to learn the lessons you didn't learn the first time(s) you were here, you then pick if you want to be male or female, sometimes souls can't make the decision so they get stuck half way, meaning, even though they are in a female body, they are stuck in a male soul and therefore are attracted to women and visa versa.

If homosexuality is genetic, then why do modern Greeks engage in the practice at a rate that's a fraction of what their ancestors did? Did the Greek genome really change that much in 2000 years?

It may be true that homosexuality is a choice and one can be changed or reformed but I sure wouldn't want a reformed gay man to marry my sister.

Your theory is common in new Age thought and relies on the Ying/Yang, two halves, one always "male" one always "female" concept. It also explains crib death...allowing the newly re-arrived soul to exercise an exit strategy during a certain "escape period".
