So if a Christian does a report on church-going families, it's "obvious propaganda"? He should stick to contesting the assertions she makes.
Ethically, she should have laid her "lifestyle choice" out on the table when presenting the results of the study. It would have, therefore, come under additional scrutiny as a result. The fact that she didn't is at least unethical. If I had to guess, I'd wager that she "cooked" the results.

"In addition, according to an article in The Daily Progress (Charlottesville, Virginia), Patterson admitted that the study did not deal one of the most controversial issues -- whether or not kids raised in same-sex households were more likely to become homosexual themselves."Not a valid question? Ridiculous. It is the MOST IMPORTANT and VALID question of all!

The whole Homo/Les coming out movement is nothing but a front for "POPULATION CONTROL" and "DESTABLIZATION OF SOCIETY" toward the ends of overthrowing the U.S.A and other nations.
I agree. They are useful idiot tools in the hands of organizations with truly evil intents. This is why I feel a lot more compassion toward your average, everyday person with homosexual tendencies than toward the leaders of these activist groups. Not only do they struggle with horrible urges, but they are encouraged to act on them by people who DO NOT have their best interests truly at heart.

Why is this a story?

A number of them are in the field of Psychiatry. They therefore are in a position of authority when counseling other women. Perhaps a Psychiatrist's office is a good place for them to get hooked up.
Why not? Same sex attraction is a mental disorder. What better place to meet others with mental disorders?
Anecdote: I've known many self-proclaimed lesbians. Every single one of them had profound emotional and/or mental problems--eating disorders, depression, anger disorders, traumatic stress problems. Many of these women would recover with real psychiatric or spiritual help. The mental health community, and to a lesser extent, pastoral counselors as well, continue to fail to help these poor souls--and indeed, make their conditions worse--for nakedly political resaons.

Frankly, the above article is utterly worthless crap. A pro-family advocate claiming a pro-homo advocate is guilty of bias might be mildly comical in it's unintentional irony, but it does absolutely nothing to disprove the homosexual's conclusions.
Is it or is it not unethical for someone to hide such a bias when presenting a study like this? If this bias was known, don't you think the study would have received more scrutiny? At the very least, this woman is "ethically challenged."

No child should have to sacrifice their natural right to have a father and a mother just to satisfy two selfish perverts that place their perverted sexual preferences higher on the priority list than the spiritual and emotional needs of the child.
That says it all right there. Now if only our benighted elected and judicial officials could latch onto that idea.

Attack the evidence not the author. That's all I'm trying to say.
When the conclusion is subjective on its face, all the evidence in the world is pretty well meaningless. That's the problem with the "soft" sciences. One man's "normal" is another man's "sick freak."

Why is this a story? It all depends on perspective and import -for you this is apparently not a news worthy story -for me it is...

Charging a conflict of interest, homosexuals accused Agape Press of being run by heterosexuals to promote their own pro-heterosexual agenda.
Agape Press never hid that fact, pally. In fact, they proclaim it proudly. That's the point.

I've written several e-letters to my Senator, Hutchinson (R-TX) and explained that and a few other reasons to oppose homo-marriage. Hopefully the idea will catch on.

but it does absolutely nothing to disprove the homosexual's conclusions. You imply conclusions that contravene the common law are proven? The homosexual's conclusions are not proven and can not be proven -you do understand that homosexuals are disordered?
How can it ever be proven that homosexuals are not disordered or are equal to heterosexuals -it can't. Your presupposition is apparentl pro-homosexual and thus prejudiciously flawed...

If she were a legitimate scientist, we might well expect that. The fact that you don't even expect her to be responsible for producing a study that might reflect badly on homosexuals, tells me a lot about your confidence in the scientific method as it exists among our intellectual "elite" today. For what it's worth, I share your skepticism, while rejecting your conclusion.
This is and should be a story.
